I have never shopped in there. Maybe I'll take a look the next time I'm in the area without the boys

Ugh, I still haven't found jeans yet! However, I found the perfect pair of slacks for work at Banana Republic. They are a bit pricier than I normally like to pay, so I only have two pair that I bought this year. I'll try to get two more next year. They are called 'Jackson Fit'. They are for women with larger hips and thighs. They fit smaller in the waist. They are compared to the 'curvy' fit at Gap, but Gap's didn't fit me right at all!!!

I haven't looked to see if Banana Republic has this fit in jeans. Hmmm... hadn't really thought about it. Guess we need to check that out!

I just found some nice jeans at Gap - they are LONG and the cut is called Essentials.

They have a little stretch in them and are awesome. Get them tight and they will wear in. I love mine.

Cathy, we do have Kohl's here. I've bought some clothes there and really have liked them all. I always buy my oldest's son's school clothes there since they carry a good variety of slims for him. One of the pairs of jeans that actually fit me the best are a size 13, they are a little too short so I ripped the hem out! Now they fit pretty good.

Tammy, since I'm putting together a CTMH order right now, I'll have to wait until after Christmas to buy them. Your coupon will probably be expired before I can use it. Thanks for that offer!

I'm going to hit after Christmas sales this year, so I'm hoping to pick up my new jean then.

I get most of my jeans from Sams Club. I really like the Levis 550 boot cut. They have a little bit of stretch in them so they don;t get the saggy butt. Plus when I gain a few pounds they have a little more give. I also buy jeans at Fashion Bug in Springdale. They are having a fall sale now. I also have a coupon for $10.00 off any purchase of $30 or more. Valid now until November 18th. If you want it I can drop it by your office?
I also get some jeans from resale shops at times. Just depends. I stick to the 550 Levis but I do love the new pair of jeans I bought from Fashion Bug though.

I have to remember to stop and think.

I get all of my jeans at Walmart too. I wear a 14-16 women's or a 15-17 juniors. I've found that I have to be a little choosy on the cut but some of the junior ones fit fine and have cute styles. I know that kids are getting heavier these days so I think that's why they are making junior sizes larger. I don't know if you have these out there but I also get jeans and pants at Kohls. They are a mid priced department-type store...kind of like Mervyn's, and I can wear clothes from both their women's and junior sections.

I justify it because the last pair of higher doller jean I bought have lasted for 4 years! My cheaper ones don't look as good or fit as good, but I do have two pairs from Wal-Mart that I'm wearing right now... one pair is too big (as in even with a belt they don't really look good). I also have two other pair that I don't know where I got them, but I hate them - they get the saggy butt after an hour and the back pocket flaps always stick up. I'm not a snob & will shop just about anywhere... I just didn't want someone to suggest a place that sells them for like $100 a pair! lol I can definately go cheaper! Have you see some good looking jeans at Wal-Mart lately?

Hopefully someone else on here will help because I only shop at Wal-mart. It would kill me to pay $50 per pair. lol

where is the best place to buy jeans? Right now I'm between a 12 & 14, so I call it a 13... but as you all know the odd sizes are Juniors (not made for real women with a hiney & curves) so where is a good place to get some jeans? I don't want cheap jeans, but nice jeans (let's not get crazy with the price tho) probably no more than $100 for 2 pair at the most would be about right for my budget. Suggestions? HELP! I'm inept at clothes shopping!
