Use the mapping software on SparkPeople. It is a great tool and very accurate.

Sounds like you had a nice ride even if it wasn't as far as you wanted. Great job, 17 miles is a lot of exercise too!

Ok so Troy has this goal of biking 20miles. I have joined the bandwagon with that since I love to bike. Thursday as you all know is our bike day since we're both off of work. We were sure we would hit 20miles. I reset the odometer and made sure it was right. We went all over Fayetteville today. We ended up with 17.25 miles. Hey it felt like a 20 mile day to me with all the hills and such in Downtown Fayetteville. We started at the trail head of Mudd Creek Trail and did all of the bike trail down to 6th street. Crossed over 71 and biked north to Spring then Olive street then on to Mission Blvd. Cut over to ash which changed into Sycamore then rode down to the bike trail again. DANG just 2.75 short of our 20 mile goal. Next time we should just map it out before we run out the door. That way we'll be sure to hit 20miles. We're ambitious but impulsive at the same time. Making progress. There is always next week! emoticon
