Right now I get my main exercise from work. My hubby and I have a lawn service. I weedeat, push mow and pick up limbs and things. That is the consistent exercise. I also try to go for a walk or hike. I joined Carrie with her challenge to get 10,00 steps daily. I have done the Walk Away the Pounds videos with her from time to time. I have a variety of workout tapes/DVDs that I can choose to use if I don't get a workout in otherwise. I love step aerobics and have several tapes of that. I'm excited to be getting my motor for the treadmill. It should be in next week so I can start my day off right with a nice fast paced walk on it.

I am focused on trying to get 10,000 steps a day. So, I do a lot of walking around the neighborhood or hiking. Sarah and I have a lot in common...I also do some workout videos like Walk Away the Pounds. And, I do have Netflix too and just ordered a new walking video by Prevention magazine to try....can't wait to get it and see if it is any different from WATP. I also have the Wii and try to do that throughout the week but haven't gotten consistant with that either....kinda hard with 4 kiddos. They all wanna play too, smile!

I try to average at least 300 minutes total cardio per week. I walk/jog Couch to 5K training 3x per week, then try and hike once and do something else (video, etc) once per week. I am not getting consistent weight training in yet, but I love weight training. I need to.

I go to the gym and play racquetball usually 3 or 4 times a week for 45-60 minutes each time. Also on Tuesday & Thursday night we go to the gym as a family; on Tuesday night I've been getting about 90 minutes, Thursday isn't consistant yet. Saturday I'll go for a walk or hike but this isn't consistant either. Sunday I'll either hike or mow the lawn (that's 2 hour job since it's a push mower on a hillside and just under an acre). I'd like to start doing weights, but just haven't worked that in yet. We also have the WiiFit and do it when we have the time.

I do the Walk Away the Pounds video - it's a quick paced work out and it goes by quick. You can even do it when it's raining or hotter than the blazes outside. I get a lot of exercise videos from NetFlix...good variety and I don't get bored...plus I get regular movies at the same time so every 10 or 15 regular movies I get, I change out my exercise one.
