it would be GREAT if you could join us! We alwasy have a food theme & right now since so many people are trying to cut down/lose some weight, it's been "healthy" for 3 months in a row. We do it potluck style so everyone shares their goodies... veggie tray, fruits, lean meats & light cheeses and lots of laughing!

I'll have to let you all know on the June 6th night. I would like to come, but it's hard for me to get away in the evenings cuz my hubby works late and Alex doesn't like to go but I don't want to leave her home alone. It's iffy (is that a word??). Hope you get a lot of mowing done today. Start packing yourself some healthy snacks in a little cooler or something! Have a great day!

Yeah that would be alot of fun! I miss you too! Today would have been a perfect day for that. I just have to schedule it but that doesn;t mean that I can always make it. Mike and his schedule is crazy. I just gave up trying to keep track of it and when I think I have it figured out some other job unknown to me is thrown in there. Oh well. It keeps me on my toes at least. LOL Carrie and I were talking the other day about getting together in the mornings for walks. I can do the earlier mornings because normally Mike will sleep till about noonish and then we'll go mow. That is on the nights that he works. We have been known to mow all day even if he has to work that night. Go figure.......he is a good guy and I love him but I don;t know how he can still be such a sweetie with such little sleep. I'm such a bear when I'm tired! Tomorrow we have to mow so we're going to get up early and mow before church. HEY I might turn myself into the early bird I used to be! (crossing fingers) Its the busy time of year for us with mowing. I'm hoping that I can not only get back on track with exercise but really watch what I eat when out mowing all day. I just have to prepare myself is all. :) You should make it out to the scrapbook night out at Paulas house. We always have alot of fun out there too. We'd love for you to come.......JUNE 6th at 6:30PM. Can you swing that? I'm going to be there. I'm jotting it down on the new family calendar that Carrie gave me so they KNOW. :)

Thanks Tammy! Things are beginning to look up..in all my "problems". I have a lot to be thankful and I am ready to make a difference in my future. I miss you, girl! You are so much fun to talk to. We should all get together for a healthy style picnic at the park and bring the kids to play sometime.

Paula, I know how you feel except I have been off of the wagon for a while now. Your back on and doing well. Life happens........and days to celebrate and splurge happens as well. Then after you do your left thinking to yourself " Why did I eat that? It wasn;t really THAT good!" OR I personally find myself thinking well if I had this I should just go ahead and have that. Not a good way to be. Have fun this weekend. Make the best choices you can food wise. Play with the kiddos for your exercise like you were saying but when you get back rededicate yourself to your program and you will be successful. I know you can do this. Don't beat yourself up about these things. You do not have far to go to meet your goal and I know you will succeed. I believe in YOU Paula. Keep your spirits up and go to that meeting. Remember the in your face thing was what you were looking for so use it to your advantage.

That's okay Paula, we all have occasions that we "splurge" a little and gain a little. You've already lost that gain and you can do it again if you gain a little this weekend. My family is camping out over the 30th and I am going to enjoy me some fish fry, hush puppies, beans and slaw!! If I gain a little I'll be busting my butt the following week, but it sure will taste good when I'm eating it. I plan to get healthy, but I also plan to live and enjoy now and then.

My hubby weighed this weekend and he hasn't weighed in YEARS. Turns out he's only 7 pounds less than me now!! I'm going to be less than him soon! It's been probably 10 yrs since I weighed less than him!

I've been having a very tough stretch right now. I'm down 10.5 from when I started Weight Watchers, but last weekend we had so much going on with Mother's Day & my husband's birthday - we ate out everyday multiple times per day, very limited choices at the places we went to so I just made the best choices I could and moved on with the slight gain. I've lost the entire gain now, but this weekend we'll be camping with friends and camp food isn't necessarily the healthiest so again I'll do the best I can do and try to get in as much exercise as I possibly can with all the kiddos there. I did skip my weigh-in this week because it was just pointless for me to go, next week I HAVE to just bite the bullet & got.

until I reach my first goal of 10%. This is the best I have ever done and it's all because of SPARKPEOPLE like you!! I am finally seeing and feeling the changes and I love it.

Can you see changes in yourselves? Do you notice anything different?
