Yeah I understand. I can't really get my family motivated either. He's more tempted to go for a hike, or ride bikes together than work out on machines. And my daughter..she's only active if I will play sports with her which she still won't do very often.
Paula gave you some good advice too!
Good Luck.

There's not a lot you can do to get someone else to be healthier. Maybe suggest taking a walk together? The treadmill can be so boring, but walking outside there are so many things going on.

As far as him being the one cooking, maybe you could suggest taking turns or having assigned nights that each fixes the meals (say him Tues, Thurs, Sat & you on Mon, Wed, Fri) That way you are in more control of what you have to eat. Or take over the grocery shopping and buy healther things for him to cook with.

Okay so tonight after I did my Walk Away the Pounds and then the lower body workout by Coach Nicole for the swimsuit bootcamp, I asked my boyfriend if he was going to get on the treadmill. He got all huffy and went outside. He says it makes him tired. Anyone have any recommendations for motivating family members? I KNOW I can do this, but I need his support...he IS the one that cooks for me after all! Thoughts and ideas are appreciated! Thanks!
