Oh, I don't go to the meetings for the recipes, but for the support & official weigh-in. I think they're worth it for me. Right now I'm also paying for the eTools so I can find whatever recipes I want. If she comes with you Friday, she can go thru it and find some & print them off for her use. Also, there is a ww group here on SP, it's called "W8Watchers Friends" and they have tons of recipes you can go thru as well.

Well we got Carrie on the WW band wagon. She;s getting the info about the program from one of the ladies at the school so she won;t be going to the meetings. I told her that you were doing it and that WW is an awesome plan. Why don't I just do it? I don;t know? I might but I think I kind of do a WW thing right now anyway? Anyway so that is great all around. Yeah for you planning your meals. :) It will make shoppping alot easier maybe? Hope you see a loss on the scale. :)

I have to remember to stop and think.

Alright, you two! I'm SUPER PROUD of you!! I've started Weight Watchers and am learning to plan my menus - boy it that time consuming & kinda hard too, but I'm making progress. Hopefully, this coming week I'll get to the gym more than I did this week but we have a pretty large work load so I'll have to just wait & see on that. Tuesday is my weigh in and I CAN'T WAIT! I wanna see if I've made any progress this week on the scales. With all the water I've been drinking, I have definately lost something.

Jana, it's great to have your sister joining. My friend Keena & bff Tricia are both doing ww with me this time too. Keena is at goal by doing maintance & Tricia is just starting over (but she did keep off some of her previous weight loss) I'm the one still way up there, but I'll get there!

Tammy, thank you so much! I know better than listening to them but sometimes it just wears you down and it's hard to pick yourself back up. YEA, I will make that pact with you! I spent the day with my sister today and she is joining us. She lost a lot of weight a few years ago and put it all back on plus some. She is ready to make a change too so we are all in this together and ready to get started. I have my exercise plan all planned out for this week and tomorrow I will work on my food plan.
Thanks for the shoulder and encouragement. You all mean a lot to me!
Jana

Don't listen to the negative comments. I know its hard not to let yourself get negative when your around negative attitudes/comments. I love my Mom but she always has something to say negative about my size or weight weather I am a size 6 or 22. It doesn't matter. Not only that she sabotages me by telling me to eat and then comments about how much I eat? Go figure? I can't control her and what she says but it does make me upset where I begin to not like body or myself. You should feel good about yourself for who you are. So you let yourself get off track with exercise but that doesn't mean that you won't do anything ever again. Life sometimes throws us curves or we create ours. I for one have created mine. I still have to get back to the gym. I ran out of money to get my treadmill fixed but I do have alternatives at the house I can use so I can exercise. I just have to DO IT. We are worth it. I'll make a pact with you. If you'll exercise for 15min a day 3 times a week to start back up I will too. How about that? :) Its a Journey and sometimes you take breaks on your way to your goal. :) Lets Do it! :)

I have to remember to stop and think.

I just wish I could stay motivated. I THINK about exercising, I even THINK about what exercise I want to do, and I sometimes even put on exercise clothes...than I sit down and watch a show or run an errand. I need to get OFF my BOTTOM and DO IT!!! I am so frustrated with myself. And the comments from family about my size....they don't help, they just make me mad.

Paula I have no doubt that you will be able to achieve the goal you have set for yourself. I have personally never done WW but I really feel that you will experience success with the program. Its reasonable, flexible, and has alot of food choices. The lawn service is in gear so I will have to get my scheduled workouts around that schedule. I can do work around everything and you can too. :) Lets Go Paula! :)

Yea You!! I'm down to one diet soda a day until they're gone. I'm drinking my 8+ glasses of water (man, do I pee a lot..lol). And have downloaded a ton of ww receipes to start using.

I've GOT to lose 20 lbs BEFORE May 31 - company canoe trip! eek!! I DO NOT want to be the heaviest chick there. Not only is 20 my 10% mini-goal, but my back into a bathing suit goal as well! I'll be gearing back up my workout to maximum allowed by my time and eating as strictly on ww as I possibly can to not look like a stuffed sausage in my bathing suit!

Let's go Tammy!

Ok so I have been off of the wagon or on strike (as I have put it from time to time) with exercise and healthy eating. Why? I don;t know I seem to go thru phases of why do it and why not do it and all of the normal things that go with it. Today after breakfast I decided I would get back on track with things. Last night I prepped alot of meals. Tonight I plan on freezing some protein portions for snacks. I'm throwing the rest of the diet coke down the drain. I finished off the white chocolate bunny with some help from the family last night. I'm ready to recommit to my health. I'm taking off my weight ticker because its just too stressful to keep looking at. Iv been going back and forth for the longest time. I really do not need to focus on the numbers at all. I'm back to being anti scale like I was because it works for me. It also keeps me focused on what really matters. Choices I make daily to live a healthier life. :)

I have to remember to stop and think.
