I'm glad things are settling down a little for you to get back to it. Hope your grandma gets to feeling better soon.

I understand what you all are going through. I have been so off-track this YEAR. I just started back to working out yesterday. I lifted weights at home and worked my arms and boy are they sore today. But I like that sore feeling, I KNOW I did good job. Today I would have done cardio but my grandma ended up in the hospital so I never did. If she does well I will fit my cardio in tomorrow. One thing at a time.
Have a great Wednesday tomorrow - it's going to be a gorgeous day!

I'm thinking about taking off my ticker as well. If its stressing me out too much I'll take it off. I think I can deal with it maybe? You know how anti scale I am . :)

I have to remember to stop and think.

As you'll notice - I don't even have a ticker anymore to keep up with my weight, it was depressing me too much & I just don't need the stress. My plan is just to eat as good as I can & exercise as much as possible, which sometimes is only 3x per week, and sometimes is 6x.

Paula,

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I got on the scale today and I am 199! I know a number is just a number but I feel alot better knowing that I didn;t gain and acctually lost a couple of pounds while taking a break from everything. I know the number is only a number. I don;t think I will weigh in from week to week because I seem to get a little freaky when I see a gain or if I don;t think I am losing fast enough. I'm refocusing again on a lifestyle change. I'll count my successes by the amount of time I worked out, how much water I have consumed and healthy moderate eating. It is the only way that I prevent binging and stressing.
Thanks alot! :) Have a great week everyone!

I have to remember to stop and think.

Tam,

you know, sometime you just have to step back & re-evaluate you're reasons for wanting to lose weight; sometime you just need to review the foods you're eating; and sometime you just need to workout more - whatever it is, I'm sure you'll be back in action soon!

Motivation that is. I wish that statement was "I have lost weight" but truth is I don't know where I am at in that battle right now. Its like I went on a strike from exercise and eating healthy for a few weeks now. I know I had said "Monday I'll get back on track". Monday never seems to come. After the birthday party I took the boys to yesterday with a small walk up the stairs and the BURN in my quads I felt from just that it hit me. I WANT to be on track again. I need to get in better cardio shape. I'm starting TODAY! :) I'll weigh in tomorrow morning and let's hope I didn;t gain too much!

I have to remember to stop and think.
