1. A figment of imagination made necessary by either ignorance of existing scientific explanations, or, made necessary by persons whose synaptic firings or culture require them to place agency and/or responsibility outside themselves.

2. A pervasive desire to give or receive joy from someone or something; generally supported by hormones and habit; the lover gets as much joy from Giving Joy to the other, or seeing the other has Joy, as Receiving Joy from the other. Diminutively, a need or desire to care for (take care of, see safe) someone or something.

Right now I think happiness is enjoying whatever it is that one is doing -- enjoying the moment. Happiness is our natural state but we ruin it when we become judgmental.

I agree that grumpiness is a choice -- a choice to be unhappy. It is odd how many times during each day we make that choice.

I like Albert Einstein's quote: “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

How do you define:
1. God
2. Love

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle you know nothing about.
Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts.
Drop judgment and pick up love.
If you can move a grain of sand a day, eventually you will move a mountain.
Crappy choices bring crappy feelings.
Can'ts are joy limiters.

Wow, not exactly easy questions.
I think happiness is when you find more to feel gratitude for than you let get on your nerves. I have an easy life, I suppose, but most of the time I find that my happiness or grumpiness is my choice about how to think about my circumstances.
Miracle, I'd say, is anything that happens that's either extraordinarily unlikely or theoretically impossible, and yet it happens anyway.

What are your definitions? Especially for the first, I'm betting you've thought about it, given your login name!

He drew a circle that shut me out--
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But Love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in!
