My youngest son spent the night with his oldest nephew on Friday so I took a walk with the dogs on Saturday.

Saturday, the boys spent the night at our house. We had pizza...mmmm..ate too much so we walked to the park to work some of the pizza off and get rid of some of that extra energy.

The park was packed with people and kids! Everyone was enjoying the weather and playing outside.

This past weekend I tried something new - I went salsa dancing! I also ran a lot of errands, paid all the bills, and caught up on laundry and cleaning.

This past weekend was spent keeping my two year old dog out of "trouble"! He had surgery on Friday to repair a torn ACL - so he had reconstructive surgery and had a really neat looking (by X-ray, anyway) "hinge" implanted in his joint. While this fixes the problem, the surgery requires a bone graft, which takes 6-8 weeks to grow properly. So, my dog, who LOVES to jump and get on the couch, into bed with us, and get up on his hind legs to look out of the windows, is not allowed to do any of it, until his leg heals properly. So, it's like having a toddler in the house, again! No, don't do that! He thinks he's in trouble a lot! emoticon

I spent this past weekend housesitting/dogsitting for my parents so they could go away for a few days. My weekend wasn't that eventful, but the weather was beautiful!

On Saturday I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, caught up on laundry, paid bills, went clothes shopping, met friends downtown and saw a movie - "Midnight in Paris". It was soooooo hot on Saturday, I felt like I was melting! On Sunday I got up really early to go grocery shopping before it got too hot to transport cold items, and then I traveled out of state to visit relatives for the afternoon.

Friday went to my oldest daughter's softball game (they lost). Saturday, my youngest has two softball games. My oldest has 3 games, which I won't be able to go to (her team has already lost the first as I'm writing this). Sunday, the oldest will have the playoffs. We won't know what time that game is until the end of the day Saturday and my youngest has practice Sunday night. Somewhere in there I have to squeeze laundry and grocery shopping in! And it's raining, so some of the games may be delayed!

It rained all weekend, so I spent most of it indoors. I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, organized the living room and bedroom, caught up on laundry, paid bills, ran a few errands, and then cooked a big dinner Sunday night.

Took a killer yoga class on Friday and wound up sore most of the day on Saturday. Went to my youngest daughter's softball game on Saturday, ran errands, hung out with the youngest daughter (oldest daughter and hubby were at a tourney) and did TONS of laundry.

I had my mom and sister visit for the long weekend. It was also my daughter's birthday so we had a bunch of little girls over for a party. I've been having baby slices every day but I think the last of the cake will be gone today. It's probably for the best. I actually took a 4 day break from the lab which was very nice.

Hurt the ball of my foot (no idea how!), so I spent the weekend with my foot up and in a boot! Not sure I missed much as it was very hot and humid here (my least favorite weather, yuck!). Took the kids to see "Kung Fu Panda 2" - cute, but the first one was better.

Got to sleep in for 3 days straight (yippee!) - no softball tourneys, didn't have to go anywhere, do anything - just be lazy - cashed in on that one big time!

This past weekend I had to go into the lab on both Saturday and Sunday...blah. But Sunday afternoon I visited my mom and had a very nice Mother's Day together.

Posting my plans for the weekend - we've got 5 softball games scheduled for Saturday (my oldest daughter has 4 and the youngest has 1), and then my oldest daughter has a minimum of 2 games scheduled for Sunday before the playoff round, where her team will play until they lose! Somewhere in there I'll squeeze in laundry and a couple of walks! I'm hoping we see some sun here in the Pittsburgh area!

This past weekend I watched my kids play softball - played all games on Saturday and only got one game in on Sunday due to rain! Finally got my flower beds deadheaded and weeded, laundry (and more laundry), and (unfortunately) got ready to leave for a funeral early this coming week.

This past weekend I went spring clothes shopping on Saturday, and then spent Easter morning visiting my grandmother and Easter afternoon having dinner at my parent's house.

This weekend I travelled to Madison to see the UW Varsity Band concert, passed into week 5 of the Couch to 5K program, saw the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra perform, and started attending the week of revival meetings at our church. It doesn't get any slower until after Easter! Help!!! :-)

Dealing with sick family members, coming down with it myself.

Watched "Soul Surfer" with the kids. Went to an orchestra concert. Finished Week 4, Day 2 of the Couch-to-5K program. Church/Sunday school.

Did the taxes. (ugh)

My weekend was pretty tame. My youngest daughter turned 9 - so she had a sleepover and a small birthday party. Then I had to do chores around the house and laundry. Got to take the dog on a short walk.

This weekend I got all caught up on my laundry and household cleaning, went grocery shopping, visited family, and took advantage of the nice weather by going for some nice long walks (and got some exercise, too!)

How did you spend your weekend?
