I'm in Florida, so I like the cooler days (when we get them), and even like the cool mist. It does make for a bit of a gloomy time though, which is hard when trying to self-motivate at the end of a semester!

Despise, deplore, detest. Winter is painful, unsafe and costs me money in business. Come on Al Gore, warm that globe already!

Embrace! I like jogging in the winter. Memphis winters run 40F down to the low teens. Not too terrible. I dress for it. Cuddle dud long pants under my wind pants are lovely. A good hat, ear protection, hand protection and I'm good to go. And 30F is way more livable than 85F.

EMBRACE with GUSTO!!! I grew up in Chicago and then moved to Kansas three years ago. I will never again curse cold, snowy days; I would do just anything for a Chicago summer and a Chicago winter. Especially after this summer - over 50 days over 100 degrees. Ugh! I don't know if I experienced that many 100+ degree days in my entire life before this summer. Please, send me the snow and cold!!!!

Hate it! Lived in WI my whole life (40+ yrs now) and still hate it. I'm always cold and I hibernate. I spend those months walking hallways at work for exercise, and I play tennis year-round. In the winter, I play at an indoor dome, in the summer at the park.

That said, when it's nice outside in spring/summer/fall, I *love* it here! Great hiking weather, bike-riding, etc.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

I can't do it alone. But I don't have to.

If you live in a part of the world that experiences cold snowy winters, do you embrace it or hate it? I was just asked this at work yesterday by someone who had moved from a southern state.

Personally, I don't like winter that much, but I do try to embrace it because that's the only way I can get through it! Doing fun outdoor activities like snow shoeing and cross country skiing is great exercise and keeps the winter blues away.

What about you?
