Today I rearranged some decorative items on the shelves under our TV. I've been meaning to do this for months!

I'm cleaning all the lime deposits off my faucets in the sinks and tub in the house.
Soaking them in vinegar and it takes the stuff right off after soaking for about an hour.
I left it on my kitchen faucet too long (overnight) and it also messed up the brushed nickel finish on part of the faucet - but it is really not noticeable.
Bed is made, kitchen counters cleared and wiped off.
I'm getting ready to put in a load of laundry..... I feel like I'm making progress today.
How about you?
What are you doing?

sheesh they worked on paving my street again today, they did it last week 2 and I'm not sure why it needed 2 coats of slurry seal.
But needless to say I was stuck with my car off the street (parked a few blocks away) and could not get back home until late afternoon.
Went to yoga class and they were surfacing the streets over in that part of town too!!!
I sure hope they are done for now.
So,
I didn't get much done at home, but got all the prep work done this evening to celebrate a friend's birthday tomorrow at a nice lunch (I'm taking mini-cupcakes)

Mowed the overgrown yard! The yard still needs some work to pull weeds and get the beds ready for spring, but mowing made it look WAY better! (and I was able to get some extra steps in!!!)

I worked all day at a fundraiser sale for a Mission Project I went on last year. We sold products we bought in Guatemala.
It was an exhausting but successful day.
Working with really nice people sure made the day go by quickly.

I finished purging and organizing the whole linen closet in the hallway. Did 1/2 the other day and finished the last 1/2 today.
It looks great and I have several more items to donate to charity.

I have a hallway linen closet that is almost all full of junk and stuff I don't need,
so yesterday I went thru the bottom 1/2 and took everything out.
I put in only the stuff that I need (1 extra set of sheets), got rid of about 8 table cloths, all kinds of assorted linens.
I put all my travel stuff (adapters, ear-plugs, small cosmetics, suitcase locks etc into 2 plastic shoe boxes.) That is all that is in there and it looks great !!!
Tomorrow I will tackle the top 1/2 and get rid of all the shaggy bath towels, way too many beach towels, more travel stuff.
I keep opening the doors to see how nice it looks and that motivates me to hit the top 1/2 tomorrow.
Another thing I did today was inflate the tires on my bicycle and take is out for a short spin. I have a really nice lake nearby with a 5 mile paved road around the perimeter ...
I'm going to go this weekend and make it around the lake and hope to start getting more exercise.
I live in a perfect city to bike all year long (San Diego) and I don't take advantage of it.

Little by little....
I have the bed linens changed, the laundry sorted and ready to start the first load.
I've been very good at keeping the kitchen counters cleared off and wiped.
I put a container of the lysol/clorox wipes right on the counter and I just grab one and wipe down all the counters, drawer pulls, cabinet handles, fridge front and handles
it is becoming a habit....

back later to report that the laundry is all done and put away and bathroom counters are wiped off and cleaned.
slowly - slowly - slowly- making progress

Knuckles - does the extension to 4/18 (because of the weekend) help you out at all? Or it is just a matter of getting it done?
Hope the week passes quickly for you.

OMG busy day. I started with a list of things I needed to pick up - unfortunately at several different stores.
So I drove all over and got it all done.
I even returned some ink cartridges to Costco - I found a better price for the same thing at another store....
Now I'm home and done.
I need to get some things organized at home and I can sit down and relax.
It has been raining off and on all day - but we really need the rain, so I don't mind.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Wednesday - laundry is done and all put away, bed it made,
kitchen counters are wiped off.
BUT
A couple days ago I lost my pocket calendar organizer (paper version) and it has all my appointments on it.
I've been going crazy trying to find it.
I do have my wall calendar up to date with this stuff, but was in such a habit of using that little pocket calendar - I'm LOST.!!!!
Of course this is NOT helping with being organized.

Was able to get some things off my to-do list for the day.
Did a 5K walk this AM for charity, got a haircut (I like it much shorter)
and went to the Cable TV company to try to straighten out my bill - was told I need to call the corp. office on Monday.....but I should be able to reduce my bill.
I was even able to take a short nap !!! Felt great....

It is still AM here and I have made my bed, filled the bird feeders, visited and petted the 2 dogs next door (a very important part of my day)
I brought the newspaper in and I'm getting ready to sit for a few minutes and read it.
It takes less and less time - because the paper is getting smaller and I skip all the election trash.
Happy April Fools' Day to all of us.

Cleaned most of the carpet in my bedroom and living room. I cleaned the area's that had the most walking traffic. Moved some furniture. Maybe next month move more furniture and do the rest.

Too old to be doing some things, but I want them done, so I do them a little bit along.

Blessings to my Spark People Family.

What is it about garages? We need to clean ours too, although we have been able to get both cars in all winter which has not always been the case.

Hi all,
We have a new month - a fresh start. Let's kick it into gear and get organized.
What are your plans for April?
I'm hoping to maintain and of course I still have the goal to clean out the garage. I only did one shelf in the garage in March.
