Daughter gave birth today to Grandchild #14. both are ok. She had a C-section followed by a hysterectomy and my grandson went straight to surgery. Both came through ok. We won't know for about a month whether his organs are working ok, though.

I'm being treated for respiratory infection.
My husband has stage 4 cancer. We find out more tomorrow.

Update: Good news: The skin tag came back negative.
My husband has to go to the VA center in OKC for further scans.
My daughter, Rachel will be delivering her baby early. He has severe health problems and will be rushed straight to surgery after birth.

We're still waiting to hear what treatment my husband will have. I had a skin tag removed and sent off to find out it's status. I should know in a couple of weeks. My mom got through her procedure today and they again didn't do what they told her they were going to do. No stent, no valve replacement. So I'm not sure what is going to happen there. I'm now at DD2 (middle daughter's) house south of Chicago and will be staying here through the weekend. I will be driving back home on Sunday (and we're supposed to be getting storms).

Thanks first for checking on me. I appreciate that.
This entire year has not been a good year for me. It started first with my right knee going out. I spent from January to April having to use a cane to even move around. I went through over 6 weeks of PT which involved 3 trips a week (about an hour each way). During this time (in March) allergies started bothering me. It developed into bronchitis. As I started to get better from that, my husband developed pneumonia and ended up in the hospital (the end of May). I almost lost him then. It was bad. I was supposed to visit my grandchildren in Colorado in early June, but had to postpone that until late July because of my husband's health. In the meantime, my bronchitis was better, but it had developed into a sinus infection. I'm still dealing with allergies. The end of June, I was to visit my grandchildren in IL, I did do this, but it wasn't how I planned. My daughter (DD1) in NC, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I went to stay with my IL grandchildren so that my NC daughter's father and sister (DD2) could go out there. After her surgery and their return, I went to NC the first of July.
After my return home, I went to CO to visit my grandchildren there the last of July. Then in August, my youngest daughter's (DD3) husband tried to kill her. (Is this sounding like a soap opera yet, I sure feel like I'm living one). We get sorted out and I think that maybe my life will start getting back to normal. I start back to work (substitute teacher). Then, my husband has to go to the VA in Fayetteville to have a CTScan. A couple of weeks later, they say they need another scan and a biopsy. The same week that the biopsy is scheduled, my aunt (we were very close) died of a massive heart attack. She was 78 years old. Because of the biopsy, my husband was unable to go with me which meant that I had to drop him off from the VA and drive by myself 8+ hours to IL for the funeral the next day. The trip was stressful and exhausting, both emotionally and physically.
The preliminary results from the biopsy shows cancer. We're waiting for the second look at the biopsy so the Dr, can determine how to proceed. And I have an appointment on Oct 23rd to have some spots removed and checked for cancer.

With all this, I just don't have much time for anything, except surviving.
