I've made an excel sheet with a list of goals and rewards, but haven't mapped it out at exactly 2 lbs per week. My body weight is really influenced by TOM - I tend to lose less than 1/2 pound for 2 weeks and then drop 4-6 pounds in the other two. I would always feel behind if I tried to map it out like that. I'm keepin it lose!

I have not mapped out a dated plan either, but I hope for 1-2 pounds a week loss. I'm not in a hurry. I don't have a wedding or reunion I'm trying to get ready for. I just want to be healthier and have a better quality of life with my family, especially my three-year-old son.

I've lost about pound per week myself. The small goals definitely make this journey seem healthy AND fun for me! I wouldn't have been able to lose if it were not for Spark and the wonderful people here!!

I can easily obsess over this. I would lay in bed with rows and rows of numbers. What it'd look like losing 1 pound a week, 2 a week, 3 a week....2.5 a week....

Over and over. I find it motivating. I haven't really done it this time though. I just figured....if my first goal is so many pounds...then I'll be approximately "x" many when summer comes. But now I'll probably get out the pen tonight and start listing the numbers. LOL

Congrats on your 7.5lb weight loss so far! I think that we have set very achievable goals for ourselves and if we just stick with it and work hard, there is no reason we shouldn't be able to get to those goals! emoticon

I too have not mapped it out. I started my third week on Wed. lost 7.5 pounds total. My goal is to lose 10 pounds by Jan. 31, and 17.5 pounds by the end of Feb. Then I will take a look at my progress and reevaluate my golas then.

Start BMI 40.9

I also don't have my weight loss goals all mapped out that way (I figured I would have great weeks and not so great weeks and I did not want to "fence myself in" so much). I have long term goals that average about 1-2 pounds per week, but then I added in an extra week "for good measure." So I planned to lose 10 pounds by Feb. 14 and 25 pounds by April 1. I know I can exceed these goals, but I did not want to set myself up for failure!

I dont really have a time line all mapped out like yours but I do have some goals in mind. I currently weigh about 149lbs (I started our at 156lbs on Jan. 1) and I am hoping to be down to 130lbs by March 1st so that I can finally go wedding dress shopping and not feel so self conscious about myself. And then by June 11 (which is my wedding date emoticon ) I'm hoping to be down to 120lbs so I can look good on that very important date and also for the honeymoon! I havent setup any special treats for myself other then I am planning on getting a new piercing if I can reach my goal for March.

Let's start small and aim for at least 1 - 2 lbs. a week with personal rewards! I'm going to set my goals by date and go shopping every 5 lbs (copy and paste if you want to fill in your own). Here's my weight loss calendar:
