Read Room last month. It made me uneasy from the first page so I did something I've never done. (I may have said this on another topic). I went to near the end to see how it ended. I mean I NEVER would do something like that, but I had to. Anyway, after that, I went back to where I had left off and finshed the book. I liked the book, just had a hard time with it initially.

Another idea: see if your library has an audio book download section on the website. Mine does. It works much like checking out a regular book, but you can download them to your computer, iPod, etc. It's something worth looking into.

I've thought of getting it on that free sub to Audible.com but won't have much time for walking until after Easter, so....

That's what happened to me back when I wanted to read it. I ended up getting the audio version and listening to it while walking or knitting.

Wow. I started Room yesterday and will finish it today. It's an amazing book. I'm trying not to be a spoiler here. If Jack weren't so vibrant the horrible parts of their reality would make it more difficult to read I think. We are so much in his world, that the stark bits of what this has meant for his mom are extra powerful and sparingly written. They don't need a lot of elaboration.

I just picked up *Room* from the library. I'm ready to go with that one and will look into the other you suggested. CJ

Either works for me. I've read The Glass Room recently, and Room is ready for me to pick up at the library.

I have The Glass Room on request from the library and have had for some time. I see that it's due on the 28th so I should have it in time for April.

I must apologize that we didn't have a BOM for March. Time just got away from me, and now it's almost April.

So here are the choices for April:

Room by Emma Donoghue

The Glass Room by Simon Mawer
