lol don't worry I won't :) I enjoy all religions and have none of my own. Why not try and fill your life with the good things?

I like learning about religions old or new they can be very interesting, just don't go trying to get me to join any one of them. LOL

As in from the 700's yes I would call that old. It's a time to celebrate the honored dead, and a time of harvest for crops and such.

For Thanksgiving day I was good. I allowed myself to eat anything as long as I didn't go over in calories. I did real well. Then I send most of the leftovers right out the door.

Christmas Eve I always host and I made it a tradition a long time ago to serve a ham with rolls and fresh veggies and fruit. I serve as many different kinds of fruit and veggies as I can find. And the only desert I serve is fudge for my dad and my husbands dad.

Christmas Day I go to my in-laws in the afternoon for a potluck. I just try and make sure that I don't bring much home if I brought anything high calorie. That way I don't keep eating the junk for days. That way most of my leftovers after Christmas are fruit and vegetables. emoticon

What's your game plan?

In our home, I bake low cal & sugar free as Master is a diabetic. At Thanksgiving there were several pies he absolutely insisted I bake in all of thier original calorie badness. To keep myself from being tempted, I made diet friendly versions for myself, in smaller portions. And it worked!

Insted of piling up on the whipped red potatoes, I gave myself about 1/4 Cup and then loaded up on the roasted squash - totally saved me as it felt like I was eating as much as everyone else.

I think that I will go with the same game plan for Christmas.. we'll see how it goes!
