I feel more like I am doing it for selfish reasons, but I think it will work for me better than pushing myself right now.

I hope everyone else is doing all right as we move closer to Christmas.

Sounds like a good plan to me. It is important to give your body a 'rest' - also known as periodization.

I'm going to keep working out with both strength and cardio, and I am going to log my nutrition. But I'm not trying to lose weight right now.

After a few days of not exercising, I got back with it yesterday, doing 30 minutes yoga and 30 minutes aerobic. Today I kept the momentum with 30 minutes yoga, 10 minutes kick-boxing video, and 40 minutes strength training, working on lower body, upper body and abs. My back and my hip feel so much better after on two days exercising.

I'm at the top of my nutrition, going over most days, but not by much. I'll get through the holidays one way or another!
