What do you think of this idea? I think it's a good one.


Now, after all your careful handling, the last thing you want to do is wring out the garment, which could ruin the delicate fibers. Here's what to do instead…

Give your hand-washed gentle wear a drying headstart by swirling them around in a salad spinner (you might want to designate a spinner just for this purpose). Once the excess moisture is removed, they'll dry a lot quicker when you hang them up.

I cant wait for spring. I can do a lot more then I really enjoy being outside in the spring and summer,i hate going outside in the winter cuz its just to cold and I hate having to put coats boots, hat, gloves and scarf on.

Did you read the mini book from Sparkguy yet?

Thoughts?

I just finished it. I liked the mini format, as he says everyone is busy so it was nice to be able to sit down and read it in one sitting. I like using streaks. They are a fun way to keep me motivated every day. I also like the 10 minute a day. So much less pressure than saying I am going to do a full hour every day.

I have to fill a jug which hold 8 cups so that once the jug is empty I know I've had my 8 cups but on vacation I don't know how I'd keep track.

I eat dinner first, then go for a walk right after (within 15 min of finishing). You walk for 30 min at a 'leisurely' 3.0 mph. This was something I read from a guy who used to work for the Nautilus company. Apparently when your body is trying to digest your meal, then you add a moderate/slow walk you rev up your metabolism. Also adding ice water while you walk gives an extra boost.

Just recently I started going for a walk every day after dinner :)

I read that it helps really boost metabolism if you walk within 15 min of a meal. You get an extra boost if you drink ice water while walking.

sticking to a consistent exercise routine.

I created myself a challenge just for that and so far it is working. I have no problem in walking everywhere just when it comes to doing cardio and such.
