lasagna doesn't compete with turkey and you can slip in vegetables that no one notices... I even use half soya with the hamburger and the guys can't tell.. I add spinach and broccoli and cheese... tastes better made ahead of time.

Thank you, these are wonderful tips. I will for sure do everything I can do ahead of time. Even the decorating and the cleaning.

Hmmm is there things you could "pre-prepare"? Like you could have the potatoes all ready to go (peeled, cut up, cooked) so all you have to do is heat em up and mash or something. You could do corn, it's pretty easy, have a salad ready to go in a container, cut up some fresh veggies to go with dinner, Turkey could cook all day, or use your slow cooker to cook a ham all day. My Mom puts a ham in the slow cooker with about a cup of gingerale and a cup of water, she put pineapple of top with toothpicks and it cooks all day- delicious. For chicken you could get it preprepared and marinating, then just throw it in the oven on a temp that accomodates the time in church. You could also set the table with everything but the plates the day before so you don't need to worry about it on Christmas eve. Hope this helps a bit.

One day I will be the success story

If it was easy everyone would do it!

Live your life on purpose, not by accident

If not now, when?

NEVER GIVE UP!!!
