Oh well, It is now Canada Day, I'm only down one pound, but that is better then up one. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Have a great Canada Day. I'm on my way out to clean and bunch Garlic, then we have company coming over for dinner. Life couldn't get any better.

Yup, I am not doing so well either.....time to refocus and recharge. Starting holidays after tomorrow so hoping a break from work will help!

Still working on it... I was down 2 pounds but haven't weighed in in a while thought I would wait until the last minute.. just got a bike so some more exercising there... plus gardening and swimming..

Yeah, it's definitely not happening for me either! But I am going to make the most out of the rest of the month anyway! Good choices, good food and lots of exercise! Let's do this!

No way we'll give up on you! I myself have only lost 1.8 lbs and am not very optimistic that the remaining 3.2 will come off before Thursday. BUT that doesn't mean I'm not going to kick butt this week and do the best I can. That's all we can do, right?

How fast time goes. At the start of this challenge 5 lbs in a month, no problem. Sounded sooooo easy. What was I thinking I must have been drinking emoticon . I have only lost 1 lb, there is no way that the other 4 are going to come off in 5 days. I guess I watch to much Biggest Loser. But I'm not going to give up yet. I still have to 5 days to try harder. Don't give up on me yet. emoticon

Absolutely! If you didn't join the challenge at the beginning you still have two weeks ... make what you think is a reasonable goal for yourself: 3 lbs? 4? And go for it!

Ooh I'd love to do this challenge, just not sure I can do 5lbs in 2 weeks...BUT since it's halfway through the month, I'll aim for 5...but be happy with 2.5...does that sound fair? LOL

I am in too and still on a plateau for three weeks staying at 172..no change yesterday when I weighed in/
If I lose these 5 pounds by the end of the month I will finally be at the weight I was before I stopped smoking so that would be good..

for Canada Day it will be 167..... maybe... if I try hard and am lucky too.

I am so in too!! My goal for Canada Day is to reach my initial goal weight, 158 pounds (which, according to the silly BMI chart would make me "normal"). I'm at 161.8, so 3.8 pounds is my goal!

June 7: 161.8
June 14: (target - 160.6)
June 21: (target - 159.4
June 28: (target - 158.2)
FINAL July 1: (target 158)

I'm in! Sort of. I'll have to modify the challenge to fit my schedule and ability to weigh-in. I haven't joined any challenges on SparkPeople yet because I can't stick to their schedule, but this is a small one, and since Canadians are so darn understanding I think I'll give it a go!

My goal will be to lose 3 lbs by June 28.
Start weight 178 on May 31.
Weigh-in schedule:
June 16 or 17 - 178 (need to lose 3lbs in 2 weeks now...)
June 22 -
June 28 - (hopefully 175!)

Hopefully this will give me the motivation I need to really get going!

Canada Day is less than one month away and it's the beginning of summer for many of us! Who doesn't want to look great for summer (you didn't raise your hand, did you?)

So ... as a group, let's make it our mission to lose five pounds before the first of July (this works out to 1.4 lbs a week)! Or, if you're at your goal weight, make it your goal to maintain until then!

You can blog about your progress here, including your weight, or you can simply use this forum as a place to get advice on any challenges you are facing.

For me, I'll do both so here goes the weigh-in:

June 04: 165.2 lbs
June 11: Goal: 163.9; Weight: 164.2 (-1 lb)
June 18: Goal: 162.6; Weight: 163.8 (-0.4 lbs - grr)
June 25: Goal: 161.3; Weight: 163.4 (-0.4 lbs)
July 1 morning: Goal: 160.2; Weight: 160 even (whoo I made it!)
