Breakfast was the usual Cream of Wheat with raisins. (Been eating this for a year to get the cholesterol #'s down)

Lunch:
Romaine lettuce salad with Tuna
Olive oil & balsamic vinegar
cucumbers
2 Queen olives

Dinner:
Donno yet. It's only 4:00 pm here on the West Coast so dinner is still up in the air! Thinking of making up a dish using some ground pork sausage, broccoli, Bisquick & cheese. Donno how it will develop. Will let you know. If it turns out well I will post the recipe.

Ate some corn chips as a snack with red wine! Egads! What a combo!

This has not been a healthy food day for me. Dinner was probably the healthiest - I had a peanut butter sandwich. I also tried these packaged chickpeas that are like the rice dishes that microwave in 90 seconds. I found it at the store and thought I try them. It is from Tasty Bite Meal Inspirations - Chunky Chickpeas seasoned with garlic, ginger, and aromatic spices. They did not look like what was on the package - dark in color (maybe they weren't good or it was the spices) but they did smell good. I only ate a little bit and I thought I could probably make these with "fresher" ingredients at home. They were ok taste-wise, but I think I really like the nutty flavor the chickpeas have.

I love almonds and saw some almond butter at the store, but didn't buy it. Maybe next time. I love PB and bananas.

It's early Sunday morning the stove is staying cold until later on when I will fix a Sunday brunch.

For now my starter (while I sit alone and contemplate) ... I fixed myself a bowl of Greek Plain Yogurt topped with fresh strawberries & blueberries, along with my freshly brewed cup of French Roast coffee.

What about you?
