I like several kinds of fruits so it is hard to pick one. Our strawberries are done for the year but we enjoyed them fresh and I put a few in the freezer. Right now we are loving the fresh cherries we managed to keep the birds from getting.

Caro488, for a long time we had raspberries that grew wild down by the fence where Dad planted the garden next to them. I think they came from the neighbor's yard. The only problem we had was we never saw any of the berries, just where they were supposed to have been. Turned out my dachshund was eating all of them. The bushes are all gone now, replaced by some other horrible wild growth.

I do remember going blueberry picking in Michigan one time. I don't know how many blueberries got eaten compared to what was taken back to my aunt and uncles, but my aunt made some delicious pies from them. Pies and preserves are my favorite way to have blueberries, or maybe cobbler, too.

Sweet cherries are in the number one spot but most everything else is a close second. I can't think of any fruit I don't like? The favorite way? Cobbler!

Haven’t met a fruit I didn’t like. We eat at least a couple every day. Are we counting avocados? Love them.
We always have fresh-picked wild raspberries for my daughter’s birthday. We taught her as a child that it wouldn’t be her birthday until they were ripe. We had a stone fence/wall at the back of our property where they grew, so it was mowed right up to about a foot from them, and safe for her to go check.
We also almost always go as a family to a self- pick blueberry farm near the 4 th of July. We put gallons in the freezer.
We have also made wild gooseberry pie. It takes a lot of tiny wild gooseberries to make a pie.
I have also, a long time ago, made elderberry jelly.
Since this is MO, we even have wild persimmons- delicious!
When I was in Costa Rica, I tried fresh passion fruit, papaya, and something small and delicious called mammons (? need to look that up). Have you ever tasted pineapple that ripened on the plant? Nothing like it!!

This time of year I like strawberries and raspberries. I like melons around late July, early August and peaches in late August and apples in September/October. Those are the times we get the local ones. I also like grapes and cuties. I can't eat much of the grapes and melons, though, and apples not raw even though I'd like to.

Love Granny Smith apples; also to beat the heat a few frozen dark cherries ...

I love all the summer fruits! I eat them raw and miss them when they are out of season. I have grapes, apples, and cherries in my stash right now.

Depends on what is in season, and what I want, DH makes oatmeal with 3 or four fruits in it at the same time. love it with berries, Fruit salad is always good and one of my favorites is with peanut butter on it. Bananas and apples are my favorites with peanut butter

My favorite way to eat fruit is to take some of many different ones & make a fresh fruit salad from them.

What is your favorite kind of fruit? How often do you eat it? What is your favorite way to eat it?
