Yes. When I first started working I worked in a hospital kitchen and couldn't stand by the end of the first day. I had a 2-week assignment there and boy was I in pain.

The last job I had I also was on my feet the entire time and by the last year I had to stop part-way through some counts. One my feet hurt so bad I had to leave early and stopped to get a bag of ice for my feet (didn't help). Then I had back problems that would put me on the floor in pain part way through a count. I still have back problems pretty bad and can only work for between 15 minutes and 2 hours before I have to stop and sit.

That is normal now. I'm a cashier/sales floor. Mostly head cashier. I stand behind a cash register.

Objects in the mirror will get thinner than they now appear

Many a day in my yoot. These days, pretty much any form of work does that to me, so I studiously avoid it.

Yep. When I first began swimming one mile (32 laps) at a time. It took SOOO much effort to walk to the changing room, change and make it back to the van. lol. And I was SORRE for DAYS.
Today I bounced right along! Swimming has had an astonishing effect on my stamina. I am 100 lbs over-weight, yet I am probably more fit, cardiovascularly, than any other time of my life.

Have you ever worked (or exercised) so hard that it hurt to walk, or sit?
