The plank challenge was one from here on SparkPeople- do a plank each day for 20 seconds. As you are able, increase your time. I thought, “ 20 seconds! Even I can do that!”
Elbows below your shoulders, on forearms and toes, maintain your body in a straight line for 20 seconds. You can really feel it in your core. It strengthens abs!

Seriously, for a while I walked on a treadmill, then I did water walking and water zumba at my local Y. I love the water exercises!
I did the plank challenge - not very well, but...
I have walked at our local park - beautiful! But way, WAY too hot and muggy now. The park is ok, but walking home UPHILL when I'm already overheated...
I am currently doing nothing, which is why I laughed out loud.
Need to get back to the Y. It's about 15 minutes away...

Ever day. Sometimes it is as simple as changing the order I do exercises, Sometimes adding a new one

I would like to swim. I did that for quite a while, going to a warm therapeutic pool at the other end of town. The pool near me is an outdoor pool that has been open since mid-June and will close in 2 weeks for the season. I think that is a shame. Schools are starting really early in the year it seems. The indoor pools are quite a bit farther to get to, so I really can't afford to go to them. It's too bad the school up the street from me doesn't have open pool like they used to.

I got fit to some machines at the fitness center but soon bored of them. Then got an audio book on my phone to walk with it and found I was too out of shape to walk very far - little increases but the audio book couldn't follow along and I stopped my routine to walk so a couple of months ago my DD got me to the pool. Indoor lap pool, where water aerobics takes place. The first time I did it (should be so easy) I could hardly get out of the pool... So I started two times a week and am doing well and loving it. Fun and healthy! Probably will just continue when this one is up - no need to change to something I don't enjoy.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2017. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2017 to be back to below 155.

I change things up when I get bored or when I think my muscles need a break or something isn't working.
I've switched from cardio to stretching, and strength training. I'm not sure how "often" I do this though. I never really paid attention to it.

I still swim and I am still working on walking regularly. I've been tackling this huge hill in front of my house. After taking my little friend to his bus stop this spring I began going around the block so I can come UP the hill.
Now that school is out, I have to plan that hill in. My daughter and I have been doing a ten minute walk using that hill.
Yesterday we 'changed it up' and went DOWN the hill, and it really targeted the front of my legs. Then we went around and up a less 'killer of of a hill' and the muscles were worked in a whole different way.
With my upper body workout, I tend to change it more often, with different movements and with different sized weights. Different set of movements each workout.

And we all lived happily ever after...

I don't. Other than I am trying to find some things to add in, like the cardio dance. I want to do things I enjoy, so might figure out some things eventually that I enjoy, but I will keep up with the pickleball no matter what else I find to do. I know that change is what is supposed to be done, but so far I get too worn out with one thing to add much else and get more change.
