Thank you. I'm going to look into that.

Darlene, we have a few we take apart and save to re-do, but two we liked so much we want to frame.

I either glue them to a stronger piece of board, like a huge farm one in my kitchen, poster board, or find a random frame.

I have a puzzle that looks very Pride and Prejudice-y. Looking forward to doing that one and hanging it up. I wonder if my friend would want to start that puzzle tomorrow....

And we all lived happily ever after...

My friend's wife has some kind of backing she uses that the puzzles glue to. I always just took mine apart to redo sometime in the future.

I just remembered that Judy's rolls up, also.

Thank you CARO488 for the website. I've never tried jigsaw puzzles online before.

Susan, where do you get the frames for your puzzles? I'd like to do that. (we don't do ugly puzzles either). LOL

Darlene, I sure hope you find the puzzle of you when you were young on the swing.

Jackie, I told my son that when people help you they're NOT allowed to look at the picture. Hard core! LOL

Thank you everyone for participating. I hope you all enjoy reading the comments as much as I do.

I love puzzles. I receive a 1000 piece jigsaw from my son every Christmas. This I set up after Christmas, in an out of way spot in our living room and work on it most days while watching TV. Anyone is welcome to work on it but NOT look at the picture! This year he visited us for a week and a puzzle was a good medium to spend time together.

I am tempted to set up another, but need to spend time on genealogy instead so do not set it up. Too tempting for me...

I also have friends to trade with but as I said above don't have time for two puzzles a year.

Other puzzles I do: Usually a Sudoku in my purse for when I'm waiting in line, or in Dr. office, or for my DH to do some shopping. I need something to keep me busy in this down time. Lately I have a bridge game on my cel that is using this time.

I got tired of crosswords because I do not know modern music, shows, stars etc. At one time I had a huge list of the common words used and enjoyed the challenge of figuring out words and themes but not now with too many I've never heard.

I also tire of other various puzzles (numbers, words etc.) because I like Sudoku better than spending time to figure out how the others work.

I would never get bored if I didn't have something to do. I do have something to do all the time.

Jackie I'm a Halloween baby but many years ago.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2017. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2017 to be back to below 155.

A friend of ours had a photo of me made into a jigsaw puzzle when I was about six or eight. We were at a cabin near Gunnison and I was swinging in the porch swing. I wish I could find it.

I like doing jigsaw puzzles, but I always end up begging for help.
I wanted to do declare February "Family Puzzle Month" but it didn't take off with the rest. But February is sooooo boring! Gotta do SOMETHING to help control cabin-fever, right?

I like to find puzzles that are perfectly my style...and then glue and frame them. I won't do UGLY puzzles.
Online jigsaw puzzles are pretty cool. And you can choose how many pieces you want it to be in.

Also, ordering a family photo in jigsaw form makes GREAT gifts.

I also like Sudoku....the easier ones. Currently, I'm in an 'easy' book and have failed about 15 puzzles in a row! EEEEK! HOW is that possible?

I have a book of small crossword puzzles. I'm not good at them, but these look like maybe I'll have a chance.

And we all lived happily ever after...

Love doing jigsaw puzzles! Go to jigsaw planet.com - one advantage of doing puzzles online is that you can set them so that the pieces are all upright! or not, if you like.
We also have "real" jigsaw puzzles out at our library - 500 pieces or more - many people will spend a few minutes placing a few pieces, and then celebrate with us when they're done!

Because it's been so, wait, SO HOT, we've been spending more time indoors and we've been working on puzzles. We've been sweating just sitting at the table working on them. Like MARTYLYNN, we usually do puzzles in the winter time.

We did one in about an hour the other day. our next one is a little bigger, but I think I'm going to buy some for gifts. =)

My husband and I usually do a puzzle together at some point during winter.

I enjoy working on puzzles as well as crossword puzzles and soduko. I also feel like when I do my genealogy I am working on a puzzle, trying to figure everything out.

Only I can make it happen

I always loved doing puzzles, but I don't have any place to work on them now. I think the last time I worked on one at home was about 10 years ago. When I was going through radiation therapy for cancer I worked on one just about every day in their waiting room. In the last couple of years I have worked a little on some at the libraries when I went for a class there.

I guess we are all thinking of jigsaw puzzles. I have done fill-in puzzles for years, most every day until I started trying to do crossword puzzles earlier this year (just the easiest crosswords).

Do you enjoy doing puzzles? And when was the last time you did one? Lastly, do you prefer to do them alone or with someone?
