Build up the Culture of Life!
We can change hearts, by bringing up the next generation to embrace Life at an early age.
If only moral people are willing to do that, mass abortion will end.

I guess I'm the odd one in this category. I have about 5 that are used monthly and probably another 5 used sometimes. All are on auto pay and paid in full monthly. On all I receive paper statements and monitor them monthly. My DH and I each have a major card so each of us can monitor our expenses.

I don't spend time getting the best monthly deals but do use the cards that give reward points generously. I use the rewards mostly for gift cards to our kids or me to use at restaurants and always buy them when the cc is offering a sale on them. If no sale I sometimes use the rewards to pay down the balance for the month.

I've cut using checks to one or two a month on one time payments and my use of cash is to have $2.00 a week to play bridge (hopefully my winning will pay this amount) ;)

I abhor paying overdue penalties or borrowing from credit cards. As much as possible my transactions are online (not that I like this impersonal usage, but use it only if it is convenient to me) and if I don't like how a card it treating me it gets replaced.

If we can't afford something, we wait until we can...

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2017. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2017 to be back to below 155.

Two. I use them too often, but it is because I cannot pay cash for things I need (necessities) or I couldn't pay any of my bills.

I don't have any. I used to have one, but they said they were closing it due to non-use. Fine by me. I use a debit/credit bank card and don't have any store cards either.

5 for me I only use 2 of them. This year I got them all paid off. I use the other 3 about every 6 weeks just to keep them open for emergencies

Two that I try to keep about a $50 balance on (never over a hundred on either) by charging forty or fifty dollars to each month and then paying half of it to increase my credit score. Everything else goes on the debit card or Paypal withdrawal from a separate account dedicated to Paypal only. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Yesterday's responses made me think of this question:

How many credit cards do you have and how often do you use it/them?
