I like both Peanut butter and jelly but the combination is too many calories for me.

I love peanut butter on a slice of hot french bread baguette, (only one tho), and often on celery or paired with banana.

I've been using no sugar jelly to flavor my oatmeal in the morning.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2017. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2017 to be back to below 155.

I'm not a fan of PB&J. Probably because that's what we had a lot of growing up. I'll eat PB on rye toast once in a blue moon. Or a little with some apples or celery. The only time I eat jelly is mixed with cocktail sauce on meatballs as an appetizer. And that's maybe once or twice a year for parties.

I love having it on toast. I like it melted a bit, I guess.
But yes, I eat both.
Personally, I find that jelly is a PERFECT touch of sweetness to a meal. I don't eat a lot, maybe 1/2 a tablespoon.

I'm over the white bread though...so not worth it.
PB and J on wheat bread isn't good to me, unless I toast it.

And we all lived happily ever after...

I like peanut butter on warm buttered toast, either plain like that or with honey. I think it's been a long time since I had the PB&J together, but if I needed a sandwich I might have that. I am not a big fan of PB so don't have it often. I do like jelly -- or best preserves.

I was never a fan of either. Until I had a taste of Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry and my husband bought almond butter. But I'd never eat them together.

I don't like jelly. I use powdered peanut butter in many recipes.
I like to add it too yogurt, smoothies or chia puddings. I keep cashew butter here for when the young granddaughter visits.

I eat peanut butter and just about anything else, but very rarely jelly, Peanut butter and banana is my favorite.

We use Schmidt's Baking 647 bread exclusively and I can have two PBJ's made with that and Jif Whips topped with Smucker's or Polaner no sugar added jellies and slice up an apple to go along with it for under four hundred fifty calories. The bread is very high fiber as well. Also, have PBJ on Wasa crackers or rice cakes. Sometimes add whipped cream cheese for something different. Fairly healthy treats.

Today is National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day. Do you eat peanut butter & jelly sandwiches? Do you have other ways to combine peanut butter & jelly?
