I never especially like oreos until last year I was looking for a treat for ggk and found the new 4th of July oreo with sparkles in it. The kids loved them and so did I. After the 4th I looked for the sparkles again and found the huge shelf of different oreos with fun cremes, thin kinds, vanilla, and all sorts of variations from the old chocolate with white creme...I'm not sure it was even on the shelf.

I never would buy them for DH and I but last summer if someone was coming out to visit I bought a choice of flavors to serve as a treat and they sparked interest each time. I fell in love with them and still will not buy them for DH and I or would eat the package in one sitting...YUM

Jackie I'm a Halloween baby but many years ago.

5'1.5" - I shrunk from 5'4"
Summer: Minesota
Winter: Arizona (as of Dec. '08)

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2017. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2017 to be back to below 155.

oh wow I haven't had an Oreo in years. So long, I can't even say how long it's been. If I had to guess, probably about 10-11 years.
When I did eat them, twisted.

Normal story: I think I do a few different things. Twisting is fun, but I think they usually break for me. Popping them whole into my mouth is kinda cool if you let them dissolve slowly. I'm not a dunker. Probably couldn't get to the milk fast enough...ate them too quickly, perhaps?

Gross story: As a teen I ate a whole package all by myself. It was fun. It was cool. But then....I had diarrhea. Not so fun. Not so cool. But I never did THAT again.

And we all lived happily ever after...

I very rarely have them. I really can't eat them because those trigger my IBS. I once in a while get some similar cookies that don't bother me like the Oreos. I eat them whole, either dunking or just a bite followed by some milk.

Both, over the years. Back in the days when the regular bag of double stuff was a handy single serve pack for me, they were worth twisting apart to get to the giant creamy middle. Now that I'm no longer nutritionally insane, we only buy the "thins" and that's very rarely. When I do eat a couple, they're not worth trying to twist open because if I am successful, there's very little there. It's hard to get them apart because they're.... well, they're, uh,"thin". Bet that's more than you wanted to know, huh? Old people do go on.

As a child I twist them apart, I so seldom have them now, I can't even remember when the last time was

Objects in the mirror will get thinner than they now appear

Today is National Oreo Cookie Day! Do you eat Oreo Cookies? If so, how do you eat them – whole or twisted apart?
