With all the folks running around hunting for a reason to get offended at the drop of hanky these days, you shouldn't have any trouble finding those imaginary mountains most anywhere you look. Yeeehawww!

I'm tempted to write a country song. I'll name it Mountains out of Molehills and dedicate it to the worried people in our nation.

I wasn't impressed with any of the commercials. I enjoyed the half time show and the game though.

I didn't watch it. I didn't have any interest in who won. I went in a couple times to look at the scores, but that was all. So I also don't know what the commercials were like.

I saw that headline about hush money, but I didn't read it anyway.

I just read an article about how well everyone got along, and everyone stood for the National Anthem, including the players.

But I think I also read a headline that said something about the players being paid 'hush' money. I wonder if that's why. I hadn't bothered to read the 'hush' article though.

And we all lived happily ever after...

Jackie, I'm with you there.

Dave, did the players show their disrespect for the flag & national anthem?

I did not; don't have TV. I cancelled it years ago for inappropriate commercials on the HGTV channel at 8AM.
However, if I did have TV, I would NOT have watched it. I would boycott the NFL. spoilt ungrateful brats.

I'm upset about how the players (I understand not all) treated what I call being American. They are paid too much to 'advertise' the way they did and I've also heard a number of reasons why they did (do) it. Each just follows the leader and may not know why. Since then I do not listen to anything football or hear anything football.

I only know the Eagles were playing from reading this forum. I don't know who the Eagles represent tho or who or the time they played. ...But I do know it was in Minneapolis as that is across the river to where I spent the first 20 years of my life.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2017. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2017 to be back to below 155.

It was the first football game I watched this year and only then after watching the National Anthem in order to be certain the politics were gone. (I thought Pink did a great job with that.) I guess I saw a couple commercials, but nothing stuck. I was puttering around the house during halftime, so I didn't see that either. I saw my Eagles win their first ever Super Bowl and I saw Nick Foles redeemed, so I'm a happy camper. It is also now legitimate to tell my DS and all my in-laws that Tom Brady is the biggest loser in Super Bowl history. Thirty three points is the highest score ever for the *losing* team.

As usual, I did not watch it, but if there were any really good commercials they will be shared online. I do really like the Budweiser Clydesdale commercials. They are very well done.

I've gone to live games, mostly in high school and collage. I never have enjoyed football on TV. But then I don't like TV.

I had plans to watch it and then my daughter called. We have not had a chance to visit in a long time and she is my priority over a football game. When we finally got off the phone it was half time and I ignored that noise. I did watch the second half. I have my own reasons for wanting the Eagles to win (I'll spare everyone the details) so I was happy with the outcome. If there were any particularly amusing or special commercials, they must have aired during the first half, as I was not impressed with any in the second half.
