I tend to jump in with both feet & sometimes have to back up & re-think things.

I usually jump in with both feet. The problem is that I then have some redo's because of it.

It depends on what it is. Sometimes a new adventure does not require step by step, just go with the flow.

If something needs to be assembled then I will do it step by step.

With most things I do it is step by step. There are sometimes things I will just jump right in.

if it's complex, then step by step. If it's learning how to operate my new zero radius mower, it's jumping in and figuring out on my own. (that was fun) LOL

SPARKINGGRAMMY, thank you for the info about ancestry.com on youtube.

Jackie I'm a Halloween baby but many years ago.

5'1.5" - I shrunk from 5'4"
Summer: Minesota
Winter: Arizona (as of Dec. '08)

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2017. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2017 to be back to below 155.

It depends on what it is and how intuitive it seems. About half the time that works; the other half I have to go back and find some instructions. Guess I'm just impatient.

I like to go step by step. Even though I have done ancestry for sometime, I still enjoy going to You Tube and watching videos that Ancestry.com puts out on working on your tree. So much to learn even now. If you havenít watched these itís always a good refresher.

Only I can make it happen

I have to understand how and why something works, so step by step.

When you start something new, do you tend to take it step by step or just jump in with both feet?
