I guess dabble. Much of mine is already done. Hubby and I go on SPURTS and during those spurts we are consumed.

Our public library has 'lock ins' where researchers can stay after normal hours and have the computers all to themselves and the expert helps us out. I think we do about 4 hours, a couple times a year. That's rather fun.

And we all lived happily ever after...

I just dabble anymore since I haven't been able to find anything on those I couldn't find before. Whenever I see a new place to look, I try it. Otherwise I haven't done anything since I went to the LDS library near me (not the big one in Utah).

Thank you for creating the brick wall thread. I'm looking forward to seeing others' walls.

Randy, has your doc suggested staying away from dairy to help clear up any congestion?

Randy, please post what you know & what you want to know on our new 'brick walls' thread. Possibly, someone in the group can help break through.

Summer colds are definitely the hardest to get rid of

before I had my last child I worked pretty diligently on the genealogy. Since then, not so much. So I guess now it's dabbling? However, I did hit a road block.

I do something on Ancestry/ AncestryDNA just about everyday. I donít sit at the computer, I use my iPad. I am not a computer person, and I have not found a genealogy program for my iPad. If anybody has a suggestions, please let me know. Thanks

Right now I'm trying to get in at least 30 minutes a day. Looks like I will be hitting the library to do some old fashioned research. Need to did deep in history of early 1910 to 1920 to learn about women's rights and treatment of them back in that time.

I check for new DNA matches every day but lately have not done much else. Between the holidays and hubby's cancer (treatments and my nursing of him) there hasn't been time for much else. Slowly I am starting to regain control over my life; getting more genealogy research and verification accomplished is part of that goal.

Not as much lately because of the pain I was battling. Not that the pain is under control, I'm doing a little bit 5-7 days a week. Might be just adding one record or comparing one DNA match ..... but something.

How often do you work on your genealogy research? Do you seriously research or just dabble?
