When I was working at Martin I had to drive out there when even the police couldn't avoid sliding off the road. Cars all over off the road and I had to get out there to get something done. They didn't even appreciate it.

Several years before, when I just had a car I had to go in to work at a medical lab (only worked in billing, but they wouldn't even close that part) and people couldn't get around anywhere in town. I made it somehow.

The last place I worked I had to go 30 some miles north of town to work during the last really big snow storm we had. On the way home one of the guys who had made it up there followed me all the way back to town to whatever street took him closest to where he lived. I made it back to my street, turned to get to the house and high centered with my 4-wheel-drive truck. Then in the morning they said any vehicle that was stuck in the snow was going to be ticketed and towed and charged for the tow and storage. Didn't know how sick I was at that point, either.

Unfortunately I've had to drive in it due to work. I stay home if I don't have to go anywhere.

I mostly stay home, no matter what the weather, but it depends on what I have planned. I will go out if it is to someplace like my friends' like for the Holidays

It depends on where I want to go and the reason for it. I can handle treacherous conditions if I have to but I do prefer to play it safe and stay in if I can.

My adventurous streak tailed off about thirty years ago. I used to love driving in hazardous conditions and bad weather hiking to get good winter pictures. Now I enjoy dry, warm, and entertained much more. I've become a cave dweller. If it's not perfect outside, I'm in my climate controlled cave.

Stay in, if at all possible.

Stay in, but here in SE Texas most of our travel adversaries are because of hurricanes. Since DH is 76 and has CP, we are long gone.
