sort of a french/coffee theme going on. It happened by accident with some pictures I liked and put them in my breakfast area then a pen pal sent me some kitchen towels/oven mitts. (she didn't even know I had the two pictures). Then I just sort of went with it. I am not even a coffee lover.
I'm hoping to get my kitchen fully remodeled next summer and I don't have a theme picked out. I have chickens and I've been contemplating a chicken/rooster theme. I'm not a big tchotchke person so it would be minimally done.

Small kitchen with as many cabinets as we could squeeze in. No theme but a few treasures mostly nature lie everything else in my home.

We have a great modern and efficient kitchen.

No themes.

An over-sized window above my sink looks out at a tree planted for it's view instead of seeing the house next door.

There are a couple black boxes that the TV and computer guys say must stay there, :( but I hid them in a basket topped with fake seasonal flowers and it looks great.

Also we have a lot of workable counter tops in which I have a pot of fake green leaves in each corner, So maybe greenery might be a theme...I like the clean look to my counter tops.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of May 2019. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2019 to be back to below 155.

My grandmother had a collection of Toby Jugs and character mugs. One of our cabinets has no door, and I removed the door next to it, so we display the toby jugs and some hand-blown wineglasses

I display some of my MILs favorite plates and bowls- they look like pieces of art. I also display some of my grandmotherís dishes.

Mmmm... I would say, red and white checks, one red cupboard, some red dishes. We are in a Victorian home, but our kitchen is closer to 'farmy'.
My cast iron skillets hang on a board across the wall beside our stove. That kind of stuff.

(that's actually a very interesting question. Looking forward to reading about the other folks' kitchen.)

Does your kitchen have a theme such as chickens, apples, cows, etc.?
