Went out to eat with my mom on Thursday and on Friday, made a turkey with all the fixings. Had leftovers together - it was a great weekend.

I started the twice baked potatos wednesday. set the table. bought all the salad stuff. made iced tea. assembled the yams and marshmallows and ... "MOM! COME TO THE HOSPITAL NOW - MY WATER BROKE!!" So....we got a new turkey in the family! 16 days early, 6lbs 6 oz, 6:06 pm. Does 6 mean something?
finally cooked the turkey yesterday. smaller celebration but different audience. luckily the only ones i felt like inviting this year were my niece and that daughter and her husband and his 2 kids. they were all over saturday - daughter/baby/hubby hanging at hospital. but honestly, it was lower calorie dinner overall so thats good.

We had a lovely Thanksgiving, thank you. My daughter, her son, and her SO joined us for turkey and many (but not all) the trimmings. No drama. No uproar, just one of the better ones. I hope everybody else had a good holiday as well.

It was nice, my son caused drama that needed to be dealt with but overall everything went well

Yes, John and I were home to eat our 15 pound turkey and pumpkin pie.

On Black Friday we went to Jensen Tire to buy a new set of tires at Black Friday prices.

Today we watched church online so we would not get out on the icy snowy roads. We are both a fall risk.

Do you have your Christmas decorations up? I brought my Christmas stuff up from our storage room. I'll start to decorate today. Our tree stays decorated even in storage so I just have to plug it in and hope that the lights still work!! :-)

Let us know how you're doing.
