Hey there... a big welcome back....

I know exactly what you are saying...I sabotaged myself a lot on my way to my goal and could easitly slip back into that again...very easily....however I am keeping focused on the fact I am there and want to stay here....
You can achieve this and get to your goal and we can journey together......
You can do this.....

Hi and welcome back!

You are so right! Doing all of these things is so important. We have to learn about ourselves on our journeys so that we know what works and doesn't work to keep the weight off once we lose it all.

You CAN do this! Just gotta keep on doing it.

Welcome back!! And remember, you lost those pounds before, so you know how to do it. Maybe journal about why you might have sabotaged yourself. Good luck. I know you've got it in you.

Oh goodness, WestPhillyLady......we are certainly all in the same boat. Sometimes afloat and sometimes sinking. I have been in the 190's for years and years.....It is very difficult to lose those pounds. I am trying now to lose, but have not gotten myself into getting to the gym, (which I am paying for) on a regular basis. I keep making excuses. I do go about 2 times a week, but if I get serious, I go every day except on the weekends and lose weight. Keep up the great work and have a positive attitude. You will do it....and so will we all.

Welcome back to the team! I know how you feel. I wallowed in self pity for about a month and gained back 8 of the hard lost 15 pounds that I lost since starting SparkPeople. I hopefully am back on track. So you have my support. We know what is needed to be successful. We just have to stop fooling ourselves and put in the work that is necessary.

I wish you much success on your journey to becoming a healthier and happier you.

Oh my we have all been there. If I had a dollar for each time I had to start over I would be a rich woman. I think you have the right idea...face up to the 10 pounds and start being honest with tracking and exercise. emoticon

I have not weighed for a couple of weeks myself and your post has me facing up to things and getting on the scale tomorrow.

Your honesty and determined attitude are good for all of us. You already lost the amt. of weight I need to lose. So you prove to me that it can be done. Also, if some weight comes back on, you show us that you go right back to the basics of what worked the first time. You don't have to panic and try something that's not balanced and reasonable. You will do fine, and you are an inspiration to me today. Thank you. emoticon

Good luck. We have all had those times when we have to start again. I too have just started again. Sounds like you know what you have to do and will do a great job.

I have to admit that I have the tendency to sabotage myself. I was almost to my goal and I started eating without tracking, and I stopped exercising. As of today, I have gained back 10 lbs. The first thing I must do is be honest and add those 10 lbs back on to the weight tracker, something I didn't want to do. Secondly, I must track my food even if I go oaver my calorie points, so I can see what I am doing. Thirdly, exercise has to be a part of my daily routine. I have come too far. I am ready to start again, remembering that if I want success, I must work for success.
