Try to keep a diary of the problems this person is causing you.
At the end of the day, if the need arises, you have documentation to back up what you say.

I had a similar experience. I wasn't that nice about it but I wasn't noticibly rude either.
I felt a little bad for having said what I did in response to the situation but it went unnoticed by the person who offended me. I realized that this person has no idea what social manners are. So to me I felt I was being demanding and a little disagreeable but the HER it was just me saying NO - something I think she's used to.
Anyway, hopefully it will impact the situations in the future because this person continually gets bossy and just bolsters through everyone. I plan to be one brick she's not going to move.
I feel confident enough to be able to stand up to her anytime now.
You are not the bad guy, just the guy that's not going to take any disrespect.

People who have no respect for your feelings need to be avoided. That she hurt your feelings in the first place is not the issue. The fact that you told her nicely and instead of apologizing (that's what you would have done if someone said you hurt their feelings, right?), she made you feel bad.
While you may need a tougher outer skin, you also need to avoid her as much as possible!

AJennings - it's amazing how often we are made to feel guilty, or be the bad guy.
Just try to remember why you took the matter up, and why you said what you did. And especially that you tried to do this a nice way.
And remember also - it is frequently the person in the wrong who does *not* come out of this feeling upset.
So, when you believe yourself to be right - carry that feeling on, continue to feel positive and, most especially, refuse to let yourself be seen as feeling down or wrong or guilty or victimised.

AJENNINGS822 - You'll have to develop a tougher shell, especially
when you're out in the work-place ! Many different types of things can
happen ( both good, and bad ), when you are dealing with people !
You just have to protect yourself - arm yourself with all the stress-busting
techniques, for starters.
