I love garlic. How do you make your garlic dip?

Thanks for all the good information about using and storing humus.

I am opening up to the possibilities of each day. I see that spark within others.

due to food allergies, i frequently make food just for me--which means lots of 'me-friendly' left overs. i purchased some silicone ice cube trays. the reason is these are very easy to clean and "pop out" the items inside. i freeze left overs in exact potions, pop them out, and have a cube or two to thaw as needed for quick go-to meals or snacks later on. because these are perfectly square--it is VERY easy to make the most of a small fridge-freezer space, as they are stackable, once frozen.

I have some little glad containers in mind for freezing. They will be the perfect single serving size. I have some pita chips that I like to dip in it but I just love dipping cauliflower in humus.

there are many things to do with humus. soups, alfredo sauces, salad dressings and more. google it and you will see. you might want to freeze your portions in smaller sizes to accomplish all the choices. my favorite is making a FALAFEL sandwich, like a gyro with that special greek cucumber and sour cream sauce.

The other thing, is that you can combine humus with other ingredients such as olive oil, yoghurt
pepper, etc etc to make sauces for meals and dressings for salad.

Yes. I live alone so I can't eat all the humus before it spoils so I freeze it in smaller portions for another time. My mom isn't too wild about humus either but I have found some recipes on spark recipes that she will eat. i wouldn't freeze it for more than three months. Good luck.

I finally tried my hand at making homemade humus. The only problem is my husband is not a humus fan and it's too much for me to eat by myself.

So my question is can you freeze humus? If yes, for up to how long?
