Still struggling with lack of appetite in the morning (so still doing the coffee/protein thing), but two days in a row now I have managed to add some greek yogurt later in the morning (second breakfast)... So I am headed there.

I find that I eat the same breakfast until I finish the box then turn to something else except for Sundays. I treat myself to rather a larger breakfast than then the rest of the week.

It really is important to have a breakfast. I used to be horrible about that, but now it is pretty routine. I had a veggie Omelet for breakfast today. Oh, was it good! Hope your day was good.

Two different types of cereal. Special Bran Flakes, and High Fiber Twigs. I added Almond Coconut Milk with the cereal. I usually had a Banana with my cereal, but need to go shopping.

I have never been a morning person, so for years I would have toast and tea in the morning. Now most of the time I eat a good breakfast. Eggs, Grain Cereal, Oatmeal...And of course my Tea.

We've been in a heatwave and when it's so hot, I don't feel much like eating. Regardless, I know that skipping meals is not an option. This morning, I went with 150 grams of grapes, 1/2 a serving of black grapes and 24 oz of water.

The only thing I eat for breakfast is slim fast cause I don't get hungry after that and then I have a healthy lunch and dinner.
I asked my doctor about slim fast and she said yes.

Unless I have medial testing I always have breakfast. Breakfast has always been my mail meal of the day, then I try to eat light the rest of the day.

I have always been a breakfast eater. When I didn't have anything to eat, I can tell. I start to feel run down and my energy level goes down.

Breast is a very important meal. Don't forget your breakfast and make it a healthy one.

Today I had a large hard boiled egg and half of a grapefruit. Sometimes I have oatmeal with fresh fruit or yogurt or cottage cheese with fruit or a spinach fritatta with a couple of slices of tomato. Lots of choices.

My nutritionist told me that lunch can be breakfast. I eat soup or bread with turkey and hummus for breakfast. I get tired of grains and cereals for breakfast. I can eat a small stuffed pepper, a wrap, a salad, it is endless. So long as I get carb, protein and fiber my appetite is good for 5-6 hours. Cereal alone will last me 2.5 hours before I get the munchies. I hope this helps.

I'm just starting this challenge! FMI; I make my own organic steel oatmeal with (all the organic I can find) flax seed, ground wheat germ, hemp hearts, hemp protein, cinnamon, ginger, cumin, tumeric,nutmeg (ground from whole nutmeg), and cardamon powders for anti-inflammatory factors and flavors, organic 2% or whole milk, whole orange juice, water, local honey, and sometimes throw in some green tea. I "cook" it in my crock pot, add chia seeds @ the end for thickening, and store it in my fridge for 5 days. I eat it with fresh berries and organic greek yogurt on top. If I don't get it made, I am usually sunk for breakfast for the week as I am not much of a breakfast person except on the weekends. emoticon

There is nothing wrong with cereal at all. My only suggestion is to keep an eye on portion size and add some protein to your meal. (protein powder in cereal is super easy)

I take a packet of organic instant oatmeal to work with me along with 1/4 of a copped apple in a baggie.

Make the oatmeal with hot water or in the microwave, add chopped apples and you're good to go until your morning snack!

You can vary oatmeal flavors and/or the fruit you use. :) Good Luck To You!!

Ooh I like the idea of fruit on yoghurt. Though I'll have to buy small pots because I've never used a large one without it spoiling! I do need to get more fruit in my diet.

I've thought about eggs but I only tend to like them as a childhood favourite "soft boiled with soldiers!"

I like to have Greek yogurt and fruit with a slice of whole grain toast for breakfast.

So, I've planned out my meals tomorrow and I thought I was doing well until I starting thinking about breakfast (I plan backwards :D) and I have no idea what to eat.
I was brought up with cereal and toast for breakfast as I'm sure most of us were, so how do you go about getting ideas for a healthier breakfast?

I am really stumped at the moment because I don't really have anything 'breakfast-y' in the house except for maybe milk! (and some old cereal but they are being binned!)

Anyone got any healthy ideas that also won't break the bank?
