THOMASS, Just do what you can with the videos. Work along at your own pace and don't feel bad if you can't complete it perfectly. You can always modify the exercises to suit your abilities. It's important to get your cardio workouts in. You can break them up into three 10 minute sessions each day if that makes it easier for you to get them in. Today is the start of a new week. Good luck!

I am recovering from whooping cough and missed some days (3 to 7). Should I just keep going at day 3 week one and finish a little late or should I disenroll and restart. I did day 2 yesterday. Karen

CHPOET, No, the workouts aren't intense. All of the videos except for one are strength training. If there is anything you can't do you can always modify the workouts.

Dee, I'm glad that your strength training tracker is working for you. I'm thinking that it might be your computer that is preventing the button from working. I have checked and it is working just fine. I do hope that it eventually works for you, but in the meantime using the Quick Track option is a perfect solution!

I only got through day 1-4, the first one was so hard for me that I did it twice to get closer to doing what I was supposed to, then I had trouble and didn't do 5, or 6 and will do 7 today, but don't think I can get all 3 so I guess I will be behind? Will that make a difference, also I haven't been getting in my aerobics at all how will that effect my goal and award?

LJOSIE, Underneath the "Add to Fitness Tracker" button there is a link you can click on that says "Add Workout to a Different Day". Click there and a calendar will pop up for you to choose the day to add the video to.

TWINNIE,Great job on week 1! You should be tracking your workouts on your fitness page. This is the only way you need to report what you're doing for the challenge. Hope that helps!

Thanks Sarah- I followed instructions under change fitness goals and the strength does show up in my tracker now. I had already tracked one video in the fast tracker and put in the other as add strength exercise after I got the strenth tracker showing up. Maybe tomorrow the button will work from the video link.

Yes, I believe there is......when you are on the video page and it asks you if you want to add the video to your fitness tracker - it asks if you want to add it to today or a different day. I don't have that screen open right now but check on the page that the video is on. I believe you could enter a week's worth of videos on different days and then just tick them off each day as you do them. emoticon

Is there a way to go back and add the bootcamp videos in our fitness tracker? I have been doing the videos but always forget to track it when I am done. I know you can track it for that day, but is there a way to do for previous days?

I joined a local bootcamp program after signing up for this challenge. We have 3 sessions per week that leave me too sore to do any additional video workouts. I'd rather not drop out of the challenge but physically can't do the videos on top of these intense workouts. Do the workouts have to be video based or will the 2-3 hours per week of bootcamp qualify as an alternative? Thanks.

I finished my first week and am soooo proud! It sure was tough, after being over a year plus since I was able to do any exercise ect. I did the vidios and even managed to do my high aerobic tape 45min every other day again. I have lost almost 2 lb and rearranged and lost inches. I just don't know where and how to post this on this challenge...help if you can

VEGASMACC, Doing the videos without the weights is always an option or you could omit the videos from you exercise program until your arm has healed. You will still be able to get the five 30 minutes cardio sessions in even if you can't do the videos so you'll be earning fitness minutes. In order for an activity to count as exercise it should get your heart rate up. Hope that helps!

I wanted to know about week two's track your food challenge. I track my food and calorie intake everyday, but I do it in a notebook at home due to time constraints. I hope that's ok for this challenge. Is it ok to track my food at home instead of on on the Nutrition Tracker?

Hi. Two questions: I'm experiencing pain in my right arm so I have difficulty lifting a weight with that hand. So, how can I work around that and still meet the strength and cardio goals for the challenge?

Does the activity have to raise my heart rate in order to count toward the 10 minutes? Thanks.

Dee, When you go in to your fitness plan set up make sure the strength training box is checked off under "Tracking Setup". If you've already done that, great! Next check the box that says "I want to create and track my own strength training workouts". After that, save your changes and see if that makes a difference and lets you add the videos. Hope it works!

FAIRGOALS, Yes, the videos are the same and repeat each week for the duration of bootcamp. You can do them twice if you're looking for a challenge, but doing them once is okay too.

Thanks Sarah- No luck with that yet. I hit the button after viewing the day 4 video. just now and nothing different on my tracker

The strength training is a different issue. So far, it does not come up beneath my fitness tracker. Only the add/track cardio section does even though I have checked off and saved wanting to track strength exercise as well.

Dee, I'm not sure that understand, but I will try to help you. Are you tracking the videos by clicking on the button underneath the videos? The strength training videos don't show up in the search options because they are not cardio. Try clicking on the button again to see if adds. Let me know if you're still having problems.

I am having the same issue with the strength tracker. I went in and checked the choices and saved changes at least twice. In the goals I have strength checked off for full body 3 days a week, and save several times but still no strength shows up, only cardio.
The other thing is the current boot camp video is not in my browser. I have some of the older bootcamp video options. I did click add to tracker after doing the video workout, it does not show up in selection options.

TRIGFROST, To post your picture under team photos, look for the box on the team page with red tabs across the top that say "New", "Announcements", "Photos", "Links", "Blogs". Click on the "Photos" tab. At the bottom of the box click on the link that says "Click here to add a photo". You'll then be able to upload your photo and add a caption. Hope that helps!

CHELLSMITH, If you're already following your own strength training program you can still participate in the challenge. You can enter the individual exercises if you want, but if it's a video you're using, probably the best and easiest way to track it would be to enter it in Quick Track by typing in the name of the video and how many minutes the workout was. This way you're get credit for the exact amount of minutes you exercised for. Hope that makes sense!

What if we do our own strength training video's, will we still get credit? Should I enter what I do and how many reps we are doing of each one. Or do we have to stick with the sparkviedo's in strength training?

Thanks

I will take it one day at a time!

WANNABELESS1, If you're sick and miss a day you can just pick up from where you left off and continue on.

SARAHCARLYLE - It looks like you don't have your strength training tracker turned on. You will need to go to your fitness tracker page, click on the change fitness goals button at the top of the page, then select the strength training tracker and save your changes. Once you do that, if you add a strength video to your tracker, it will shop up there.

SARAHCARLYLE, Are you sure it's not being added to your fitness page? Check your fitness page under the strength training section. The Day 1 video is added under cardio whereas the rest of the videos are strength training and will appear in the strength training section of your fitness tracker when you click on the "Add to Fitness Tracker" button located underneath the videos.

KELRAJ, All the info you need is on the team page in the Challenge Details box toward the top of the page. You can click on the link to view the details about the challenge and you can also find the link to all the videos there. You should be doing 1 video each day in addition to five 30 minute cardio sessions each week. Hope that answers your question!

I'm having a similar issue--except when I click "track this workout" it doesn't even list it in my tracker at all. I've just been using the Day One video values but that doesn't seem right.

I feel foolish asking how many days per week do we do the videos and cardio but I cannot recall where I read that particular information and now cannot find that info anywhere on the team page.
I know I do one video and then 10 to 30 minutes of cardio, but how many days each week??
Thank you in advance for answering my question.

(btw I accidentally listed this another a creat a topic which I didn't mean to do. I am very tired right now and obviously not very with it.)
