I like to use YouTube fitness videos. Some fitness trainers have their own channel
Make one small change at a time. Even the smallest things make the biggest difference especially in weight loss :)

Can you access the workout videos from the app? The first time I ever saw anything was when I logged in using my laptop. It's not impossible to use my laptop to view the videos but it's a little inconvenient. Thanks :)

The one online had one cardio workout and the other days were strength training. I did cardio on days when I did the strength training. Like walking etc.

Any particular workout? The DVD is not split into 7 workouts. Some are cardio, others strength and cardio. Not structured the same as online version.

I have horrible internet at home and can't stream. I ordered the bootcamp video, but the schedule for it has rest days. Do I follow that, cross-train those days or what?

I start week 4 tomorrow, but will not be camping the last 3 days of this challenge. Since I will not be able to post or do the videos, would it be acceptable to do them all at once when I get back?

So I have just joined and I am a little confused on how this works. I see where it says week 1 action steps with things listed when you click on it. And there is a checkbox next to it. Are we supposed to do the things that are listed there before checking the box? A little confused on how this actually works and there wasn't really any instructions on how to go about this. Some more info on it would be nice. Thanks.

I try not to exercise on Sundays can I do an extra workout another day during the week instead?

I would break them up in to 3 ten minute sessions. As long as you can get them in! Good Luck. I love this challenge! :)

I find that doing the toning videos is good, but it's the additional 30 minutes of cardio that has been a problem for me. What if you are unable to complete 30 minutes of cardio 5 times a week? Should I try and break up the 30 minutes in smaller increments? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated - I want to start week 2 off strong!

I know where the videos are, but where there is usually an arrow you click for the video to play is totally white! No video or arrow! Not sure if it's my computer or the site! Thanks for the help though! :)

KVOGES87.. The videos are up top where you see MY CHALLENGE PROGRESS WEEK XX. If you click on the workout for that day another will come up with day 1, day 2, day 3, etc. Hope this helps! :)

ZEALOT1205...Yes you can do two videos in one day! What I do though is do the same one over if I need more exercise. ;)

I'm all pumped up for the 3rd week of my 28 - Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge and my buttons are muted!! I noticed that the previous Spark Friend had a similar problem.
No weekly emails either I noticed. Help, I'm on a roll. I'll just continue to be active until I hear from you!! I clicked on the box for the weekly challenge goals completed today and today is my 7th day. I have tracked all team goals in my other goals on the fitness tracker.
The problem is that my challenge box on the bootcamp challenge for bootcamp week 2 doesn't show up. I checked the box for week 1 challenges completed shouldn't week 2 show up now? Plus I am not sure if I received challenge email for the week and I checked that box too. Any advice? I really would like the spark trophy for my sparkpage at the end. I have same question as someone else on this message board. Can I do two bootcamp workout video a day [ pick up the slack ] . Also some of the houselhold chores in day to day activities can be quiet intense such as bending down cleaning the bathtub , laundry and running up and down the stairs for picking up various things

Can I mix the 2 off days up? I run but don't do it 5 days in a row with 2 off days, I tend to do 3 days on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off.

Not sure if this is where I post but I had a question I left off finishing week 2 of the 28 day bootcamp and this past week would of been my week 3, but I was so busy with other things and then had a vacation trip. Do I start on Week 3 today or do I need to restart from Week 1 again? Please let me know. Thanks.

I'm starting today too, but to keep the weekends gym-free, I'll probably do video 1 several times until Sunday, and then really start. I'm doing an hour or so cardio 5 days a week anyway, but this will be a great way to add some strength training.

Today is my start day, it is Thursday, I like the idea of not having the full workout on Saturday and Sunday. Should I start on day 5? I have done two days of Zumba this week. I am not a total beginner to cardio, so I think 30 min will be fine for me. (Excited to start!)

Hi,
You can keep doing the day 1 cardio video if you wish. Keep in mind, though, that for strength training it is important to give your muscles time to recover and repair in between workouts. For that reason, it is generally recommended that you allow a day or more before performing additional strength training with the same muscle group(s). The good news is that the videos are repeated each week, so you will have more opportunity to do the video in the future. --Anne

How does one keep from injuring muscles and tendons during exercise. I pulled my Achilles tendon and wonder of I should continue to work with that foot or not until it is healed. It really doesn't bother me a whole lot unless I stand on it for a long time.
Just for the record, I didn't hurt it doing any Sparkvideos. I hit my heel on a metal bar goofing around with my dogs out side. Don't ask me. It was a stupid accident. I am just wondering what I should do about exercise.

I have been working out Monday-Friday and taking off sat. sun...to rest...been having problems keep up on the bootcamp workout but its been fun doing it.. is it ok to take your time when doing any of the work outs???
