I am going through a very stressful time at work myself. I am carrying a very heavy workload by covering two offices with their budgets and in one office I am in the process of going through a move. I have been working weekends and late nights to get work finished. So I can feel for you. I know what it is like to do the binge eating, but you have to stop yourself from doing that. I will make a large meal that will last my family for several days and I just eat leftovers for a few days. Sometimes I will make several meals when I get home on the weekend and that way I will have a variety. I have also got my crock pot out before I went to work and threw a meal together that would be ready when I got home or one of my family members got home. I just look at different ways to plan a meal so that I won't binge.

Now getting the exercise in that I do a lot at lunch time. I try to get in at least 10 minutes a day of walking. Plus, with this move, I am running around our office a lot during the day so I am getting a lot of walking in that way too. I find I can take 10 minutes of my lunch break to get in a little walk every day. It helps me with the stress too. I take deep breaths while I'm walking to clear my head.

I hope I was able to give you some suggestions to think about. I know what it is like to be stressed out. I wish you the best with your change of life style. If I can do anything else to help you, please let me know.

First of all, you are an angel on earth doing that difficult work...even on a good day!
Thank you so much for that.
Now, you absolutely need to put your self-care first on every list.
Even if you can only manage a 10 minute walk or sit in your car and breath deeply to desires a few times a day.
Something, anything to take care on numero uno...pronto!

?tried journalling and writing down exactly what you feel when you eat-ie-practice mindfulness.I had to find this the hard way-afters sleeve gastrectomy-forced me to do it!

Try writing down everything you eat and why you eat.No one is judging! We have all been there and are still there-some of us!

Indian standard Time! Now 54 yrs old.Had a Sleeve Gastrectomy and like most of us who have had this survey-it is a welcome surgery and ,howeer a radical lifestyle change-in diet, exercise, evrything.Weight is down by 20 kilos. That is a whole new me but I need to lose a couple of 5 more kilose hopefully due to newly diagnosed psoriatic arthritis.Well here's to all of us ,everybody!I am on a new challenge that
involves decorating the using SPARKPAGE DECORATING & VOTING CONTEST thread as shown.by

There is no easy solution to your situation. that is probably obvious to you. It is easy to make suggestions from the outside. Is there any way you can substitute exercise for your binge eating? Can you do something else when you feel those urges? You are in the right place to get help and encouragement.

Hey I been off line for awhile due to my crazy hours at work. I work with homeless folks with severe mental health issues. My company let go of all the case managers but me which was needed but left me so overwhelmed all I did was work and sleep. They hired new leads and things have gotten worse. I am binge eating now and my hair is falling out from the stress. I am back here hoping to get back on track. Any ideals on how to slow the stress eating down and how to get more exercise in will be appreciated.
