I read last night from Lifescript never ever say you're not motivated.. It cements it.
Personally, I find its hard but dont think, just do.. Just wake up and go.. No "should I now? Should I later?" the more you move the better youll feel.. that keeps me going back for more:)

I am new at this but I keep telling myself "once the mile walk around my block (steep hills) gets so easy I dont stop on the hill, then I can try something new, Like hike the trails or swim laps, something more fun. ( I live in the mountains, trails are better then the pavement..lol)

thats what makes me go do it every day, so far.

I know the feeling between time and getting myself organized again, it is hard. I need to get myself organized and back on schedule again, which is easier said than done. That is a good idea committing ten minutes a day and starting from there. Plus it makes it hard to find an excuse which is what I need to work on getting my priorities right. Good luck and you can do it. emoticon

Have a great day!!!

Wow! Some great suggestions. What about choosing seasonal exercises? What could you do at this time of year that might be different from what you have been doing?

Well I read on sparks that if you schedule exercise; like you schedule everything else in your life. YOU CAN DO IT ON A CERTAIN TIME. Find something you like to do rollerblade,baseball, walking, 10 minute workouts whatever you enjoy makes it easier.Theres a list of exercises on amazon .com videos you can buy and different sparks groups offer free exercise videos. The sky is the limit. Write down what makes you happy then write down some goals and go for it. I hope I helped and didn't make you mad.

Every Sunday night, I get my workout clothes ready for the following week. Then I concentrate on how I will feel after working out, not before or during.

A workout you enjoy is instrumental. I read some of the motivational articles today for points and to my surprise, I found some pointers.

First say to yourself what you would be;
and then do what you have to do.
-Epictetus
If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won't you most assuredly won't. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad. - Denis Waitley

Take things one day at a time. Maybe you need a less intense workout. Have you tried things like water aerobics or tennis? I am not sure how long you workout but maybe you could reduce the time and involve other things like lifting weights. Hope this helps.

You may need some variety. Check out one of the great videos on SP. I like the 10 minute workout ones. I also recommend chair aerobics. The instructor is energetic and motivational. Good luck. emoticon

If you have the Wii or other movement controlled gaming console, challenge a friend on a generic sports or dance game. I found one for the Wii Dance Broadway where all you need is the remote and tv. No special mats or anything. Make stayibg fit fun and you will make it.

I have been working out so hard for two years, everyone says I'm too skinny. I want to continue working out without getting skeletal scary!

Now I can't seem to start up again cause I'm getting lazy!
