YOU CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING


The only thing that stands between you and what you want from life, is simply the will to pursue it and the faith to believe that it is possible.

Have you ever noticed while listening to others the excuses one uses for not trying or not doing something... Incredible!

I have no time, my cat is sick, the car won't start, I'm not feeling 100 percent, it's not what I want to do at this time, Is it necessary, why now......

There are so many reasons one could also give why not to exercise, or stay with their nutritional program, reach their goals and do what's right!

1 piece of cake won't hurt, If everyone has just 1 more spoonful then we won't have to worry about leftovers, the cookies taste so good...etc

1 day won't hurt, I do it later, I don't feel like going to the gym or pool today, The dog is sick so I won't be walking today...

I believe that there are no excuses when you have a lifestyle change. Unless you're on your deathbed there's no reason why you can't walk, or do hand exercises, jump rope, swim, play with the kids, etc unless there is a medical reason (wheelchair bound) and I've seen people do cardio, dance, lift weights and other exercises in a wheelchair.

The only thing that could possibly restrict you is those famous little words... There's no possible way I can do this... This is impossible... It can't be done... or I don't want to... it's too hard!

To mentally accept that you can do anything is half the battle and of course, the physical preparation and execution will soon follow!

Are you a believer? I believe that everyone believes in themselves or they wouldn't be on Sparkpeople in the first place! Everyone has made goals, plans and have had successes and will continue to have success if they believe in this one thing... "I CAN DO IT!"

They're small word that pack a powerful punch... yes...
"I CAN DO IT" starts the basis of any good nutrition or exercise program! It reminds us of the commitment we took when we started this program! "I CAN DO IT" made me into a believer, It turned my health around and the willingness not to quit came from... you guessed it "I CAN DO IT"

The reading and knowledge, the execution of what I needed to do to exercise, the proper nutrition, the will power... (the whole enchilada if you will) the bottom line is realized when you start with and believe in the words " I CAN DO THIS"

Can I do this...........Absolutely!
Will I complete this....Absolutely!
Will I eat the right foods..... Absolutely
Will I do the right exercises...Absolutely

I believe everyone has the power within themselves to succeed in whatever they put their minds to... including wieghtloss, exercise, nutrition,will power,
stamina,or whatever you want as long as you say, repeat and believe in those words "I CAN DO THIS" and they truly believe in those words and what they mean!

I deserve the best that Life can offer... I need to know daily that I'm following the path that I created and that I'm doing everything that I can to achieve my daily, weekly, monthly and lifelong goals that I set

and I know that to the best of my ability I will achieve those goals because...I CAN DO THIS!"

I'm worth it and so are you!

Are you ready for the challenge? Are you up to the task?

Of course you are! because of those 4 little words...

I CAN DO THIS!!!

Believe in yourself and what you do!
There's only one place to go... and that's UP!

maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
