Recovering, slowly, but still on the mend from my vertigo. Today looking forward to the Packer game. Put a port tenderloin in the slow cooker with some carrots.....looking forward to half time (chow down).
Also made a double chocolate pie (all sugar free products)....looking forward to that too! have a good day all and smile.....by the way it is snowing (fluffy) suppose to get a dusting (way beyond that) so I guess after the game I will attempt to help DH with the pretty fluffy stuff.....again. That's winter in Wisconsin. emoticon

Barb, I'm the one who said my elderly dog had that vertigo problem (just like a human can get)...I sure hope you're feeling better soon! As for my dog, she is doing great now...just aging:)

Tracy, I like to sew & do crafts also. Your quilting project(s) sound really nice. My sister has been part of a quilting guild that would make a quilt-of-the-month together. I'm presently working on a crochet baby blanket (for a baby shower coming up soon.) When my sewing room warms up a little bit, I want to start some sewing projects. It's presently the coldest room in the house, so I've been avoiding it...for now. As one of my friends tell me, she like to knit this time of year b/c it helps to keep her warm (project in lap), and crocheting does that for me also. LOL.

So far, my month has been cleaning (spring style cleaning), purging (finding old things we no longer use or need to donate), chasing and playing with my 2 year old, baking (breads and such) and crafting. I am sewing a quilt through a Block of the Month class at my local quilt shop and I'm crocheting an afghan for my niece for Christmas. Yup, I'm making most of my Christmas presents this year, so I'm having to get started early. I'm making my niece an afghan, my brother and sister-in-law a quilt, my Mom a quilt, and I'll hand sew my son a Christmas themed lap quilt. But that will just take a LONG time. I'm also going to do things like make felt hand warmers, mug rugs, coffee cozies, pin cushions (for my sewing ladies), coasters and placemats and napkins. So I need all year to get this stuff done. *L*

AuntB63 - so sorry to hear that you are having problems with vertigo. That is never fun. I hope that it goes away soon so that you can get back to doing your regular daily activities. emoticon at not binging.

My day has been fairly busy. I had so many appointments that I had to go to. I also had to drop my husband off at work since I needed the car. In just a few minutes I have to leave and go pick him up. I have stayed active though today through all the things that I needed to do. Hope that everyone is having a great day.

Yesterday was day three of my vertigo....inner ear imbalance. I feel dizzy if I move too fast and have a hollow feeling in my head. I have had this before so it's not really a big thing just a plain nuisance. For me that means no cardio for a few days, but I am trying to do some chair exercises. Still tracking my foods.....could really go on a binge if I had a mind to, but I'm being extra careful. Hope every one's day is going well....keep moving....eat healthy and stay happy. emoticon

Today has been a pretty good day for me. I had several errands to run so I dropped my husband off at work so that I would have the car. I have since picked him up from work. We are going to go out tonight which will be a blast. I hope that each of you are having a terrific day as well. If you aren't please let us know if there is some way that we can help or encourage you. emoticon

I have decided that we will have a monthly chat instead of doing daily or weekly chats. Please feel free to jump in and share what is going on with you. If you need help there are people out there to offer suggestions to you or to just be a listening ear. I hope to see a lot of chatter in here. Let's make this team something that we can be proud of.
