The day just got away from me, I meant to get here sooner. Changing up the workouts for me helped too.
I just wasn't feeling the "love". If we are going to work sooooo hard at this we need to have fun along the way. Yesterday DH took me out to lunch. Tried a new place called "The Horny Goat"........it's a micro brewery, bar and grill. It's right on the Milwaukee river. Boats going by (and stopping in). Had a good time and I even stayed within my calorie count (surprise). Talk more tomorrow. Till than have a healthy happy one.

Thanks, Libbie! I'm working on it. I realized that the cardio I was doing wasn't working for me, because I dreaded it. So I'm trying something different which might not be as intense, but I have fun doing it. Something is definitely better than nothing!

Don't be discouraged! The thing we don't realize right away is that we have the power to change. If something isn't working for you try something else. Be consistent and never give up!

Happy Thursday,everyone!

I hope you all are doing well. I'm dying for a day off with NOTHING that needs to be done. I'll be counting down til my break between academic quarters. No youth sports this weekend, so that's a start, but I still have homework to do.

Today is weigh in day for me, and no change. I'm feeling discouraged, but need to remind myself that this week is really the first week I'm back on track, logging my food and actually getting in my workouts. I'm making up for lost time. Still, I hate seeing that same number on the scale. Could be worse, but I'm frustrated that it's not any better. I'm not giving up though, because if I do, at best, I'll continue to stay here. Not an option :)
