Congratulations Shelly!! That's awesome!! What are your plans now? Your journey has not ended! Keep things interesting by finding new healthy recipes and new workout routines! Some say that maintaining is harder than losing. I tend to agree with that statement! I've been on maintenance since April and I tell you it's so hard! But so worth it!! To keep myself motivated I challenged myself to lose another 5 lbs. I don't really intend to lose 5 pounds, but it gives me something to shoot for. It's just a mind game I play with myself to keep me on track. Keep posting so we know how you're doing!! Libbie

Zoe, good job on kicking that slump out on it's duff! :)

Yesterday I didn't get any miles in or anything like that. I used my reel push mower to mow the yard. I got about half done in 1hr45min. Our grass is pretty thick so you have to use it like a vacuum and go over the same track over and over to get all the grass. Anyways, I put it in the fitness tracker because my muscles were TIRED. And no wonder, doing that was over 1300 calories BURNED. Shoot! That makes me want to go out and do it every day! I'm not so sore today,so I'll probably finish it this evening when it cools off.

Today is my Mom's 52nd birthday, so I'm taking her out to lunch. :)

Shelly - you are awesome! I already posted on your blog. Gotta say that your now picture is skinnier than your goal picture was. It's more than pounds, it's all that exercise. I'll say it again - you rock!!!!

I got off my duff and walked again this morning, that's two days in a row so I'm declaring my slump officially kicked to the side of the highway. I am deliberately not weighing myself until next week so I don't freak out with all the bad stuff I ate this week. It's good to be back.

Woohoo! Congrats, Shelly! I'm on cup off coffee #2 myself.

It's been so busy lately. I'm out of town again, this time for a professional conference. I haven't been tracking ANYTHING, but I've managed to maintain my weight. I'll take it.

Well, I was just on a session break & wanted to say hi. Hopefully life gets back to a normal pace soon so I can be on here more often.

Morning all! I'm up and at 'em early on a Saturday morning. I had the chance to sleep in but I just couldn't. The scale was calling my name. Demented I know. lol I REACHED MY GOAL!!!!!!!!! The scale read 140 lbs!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!! I am so freaking happy right now. I want to celebrate this moment. I thought about going for a run but my legs hurt too much. Then I thought I would do my ball exercise but I can't bend at the waist, my abs hurt too much. So I made a STRONG pot of coffee this morning and intend to enjoy every drop until my bladder says STOP! lol
