I'm here! I've been here. This week has been a very stressful week for me. :( I haven't made the BEST food choices however, I will give myself a NSV for not eating all the chips in the house! I haven't been STRESS eating, though my choices haven't been best. I've upped my exercise considerably, and I'm maintaining my water intake. So all in all, not the best, but by far not the worst. I'm in a weird position as far as returning to school. I'm a student at a nearby university (by nearby it's 1hour highway travel away), and about a third of my classes that I need are taught at my local community college. In May I got my associates degree of arts from said community college. Well, the university is giving me fits for wanting to take all those classes here at once, and doing a consortium agreement with me for financial aid. *sigh* So it's been one huge hubbub this entire time. That's not nearly as stressful as them not having my transcripts from the community college yet post graduation (though I had paid to have them sent in MAY) or from my prior college back in the day. (I sent a letter in May AND July and finally a fax last week.) So yeah, being ADMITTED to the school has been stressful.

OH and another NSV. For the first year almost of my sons life, I've had to have help getting off the couch, or I'd have to use my arms a LOT to help propel myself up. Actually, using my arms to propel myself has been something I've had to do since. Well, the last couple of days, my son has fell asleep on me on the couch. So for me to carry him to his bed, I can't use my arms to help me get up off the couch and I can do it with relative ease. YAY! I'm starting to get up and down like a NORMAL person again! YAY!

Busy, busy at work!! I've been trying to eat better this week. I've been having trouble keeping my calories down at dinner. Comfort food eating is my downfall. Stress = craving for mashed potatoes etc!

I'm glad you enjoyed your run. I miss running! I hurt my hip in March and haven't been able to run since. Oh well. Better to be safe than injured! The elliptical is my friend!!

Keep sparking it. Our friends will return!

Good morning! We seem to have lost so many buddies on here in the last 2-3 weeks. I know I haven't been around as much but where did everyone else go?

This past week has not been good for me as far as sticking with the plan. I have not been pushing myself running or do any of my other exercise. My food intake has been embarassing. That would explain the yo-yo effect on the scale since last week. So yesterday I quit whining and started over. I did a 5 mile run yesterday evening and it nearly kicked my butt. But it didn't, I got through it and can't wait for my longer run on Sunday. emoticon

Today I am meeting a friend who is in town. We grew up together, inseperable starting in Kindergarten. But then she moved to Florida right after HS and we have seen each other only once since then. So its been 15 years since our last visit. I am beside myself anxious to see her and her kids, whom I have never met! Come to find out her Mom moved several years ago and lives 3 blocks from our house! How absolutely crazy is that?!?!

Alright, where is everyone? How is everyone doing?
