Hi Tracy! I'm here tonight, but haven't been here all day. My food and exercise have been out of control -- too much of one and not enough of the other, I'll let you figure out which one is which lol. But tomorrow is another day to quote Scarlett O'Hara. I'm glad you're doing well with exercising. I know how hard it must be for your mom, my step-dad had copd.

I will be back here tomorrow - we'll see who can start the thread first!

Hello! Where's everyone been?

The last couple of days I've been here, but I've been making short trips to the site. My Mom and I have been walking around our mall. It's been nice to get out and about. We have to get registered for the 1.5 mile walk for later this month. I'm ready to do it. I'm not sure just how ready my Mom will be. It's been so hot and with her COPD, she's been suffering so much. She can hardly breathe most days. I've been trying to get her to borrow my cousin's push wheelchair (she uses her motorized one most of the time)and I'd push her through the walk, but she's stubborn and wants to do it herself.

Anyways, I've really ramped up the exercise this week. I'm working out around an hour/day. On the days I do strength training, I only walk a mile and I might do some belly dancing if I'm up for it. Otherwise, it's 5 miles. One day, I'll have a home with enough room I can get a treadmill. One big enough and powerful enough I can run on. That's like an ultimate gift to myself. That's not a "so one day I can walk" thing. Those things are way too expensive to just whimsically buy. So that IS in the "one day" category. Until then, I'll use my 5 mile fat burning DVD for days I can't go out, and go out on days I can.

Anyways, I hope you ladies are doing great! I hope to hear from each and every one of you. I miss you all very much!
