Girls don't let anything get you down. I know the scale sucks ... a lot lol...but it isn't always about's about how we feel from exercising and you normally don't see a whole lot of change until the 3rd month from what I hear? I have never gotten that far lol, actually this is the farthest I have ever gone! 2 full months is a huge step for all of us! Keep it up!

Tracy - I'm so glad you have a realistic and positive attitude about your struggles. You're not giving up and that is very important. I agree that you shuld try dropping your calories lower and see how your body reacts. Hang in there!

Yesterday was a blue day for me but I did turn it around. Stress just eats me alive and I have a hard time managing it. I should say I can manage stress when it is self-inflicted and I can make steps to change something. But when something is forced upon me and I can't control it, I don't deal well. Yes I am a control freak. So anyway, I decided to put my emotions to work for me and I started cleaning out my closets. I got rid of 3 lawn & leaf garbage bags of all my "fat" clothes. It was such an amazing feeling. I also found that my goal of being in a 10 has been realized and in some cases some of my 10s are too big!!!!! If I get smaller than a 10 though, its going to be really expensive since I only own 2 pairs of size 8 pants. LOL I guess that's a good problem to have right?

Yesterday and today have been very cool out. I ran yesterday with the kids in the double wide. Holy cow that was tough. I haven't done that in almost 2 months. Its been too warm to run after 7 am and they are usually sleeping. Today I didn't run but I may try to get a run in later this afternoon before the rain comes in.

I'm heading out to the Farmer's market in a little while. Sure hope the Rocky Ford Melon stand is there finally. I need melons!!!

Answer to QOTD: I simply have had to force myself to not eat emotionally. I leave the house if it gets really bad. I do push ups or jumping jacks. However I am discovering that I am going to the opposite end of this and not eating when I get stressed. That's not good either. I need to find a balance. I'll get there.

Sorry for my down day yesterday ladies. I think the scale got a temporary one up on me. That's ok. I walked my 3 miles in 40 minutes! I felt better. I worked out a plan and it's a little tighter in the belt loops than the other one. I'm going to give it a couple of months like I gave this other one, and if it doesn't work, then I'm going to take my laptop to the doctor, sit her down and SHOW her what I've done for 2 months to get what....But I'm hoping it doesn't come to that. So we'll see. :) Anyways! I'm doing well this morning. I had my shredded wheat and skim milk and grapes for breakfast this morning. :) Because today is a new day. :)
