Hey ladies...sorry I've been absent from the boards for awhile:( Life itself is getting too busy. I have to relicense childcare next week...State Fire Marshall in on Tues.; Dept. of Children and Family Services in on Fri. After that, I'll have more time to catch up. Right now, I'm trying to work out an interior escape ladder for a new window exit and it's causing more problems than it should:) I've done OK with WL..gained .8 last week so hoping to get that and more off this week. Shouldn't be a problem as I spent the weekend painting, hauling furniture, rearranging rooms, etc. I did eat ice cream cake on Sat. night as well as a FEW:) cocktails, lol. I'm not LOOKING at the scale until Friday so as not to disappoint with any water gain:) Hope all of you are doing well and trying to get back into the swing of things after the holiday. I miss you all and think of you everyday even if I'm too tired at the end to actually get online and post something. I promise to be more of a buddy when next week is OVER. Darla

Hey everyone,

I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things after a very busy couple of weeks. I didn't track ANYTHING over the weekend, so I feel like I'm almost starting over. I hope everyone had a good weekend!

Shelly - Sorry your daughter (and you) have so much drama to deal with. I'm glad she sounds like a strong young lady and trusts her therapist. I'm a licensed psychologist and will be the first to tell you that trust in the therapeutic relationship is crucial!

Well, time for dinner with the family. I'll be more active this week, especially since our traveling is over. Looking forward to catching up with everyone!

Mitchell - Come to the US and run with me. emoticon Its gonna be a blast, especially when its all said and done. I'm excited for you that you have been doing your fitness everday. Way to stick with it!

Tracy - GL at the Dr today. And tomorrow too, the shots stink! My youngest just had his 15 month and he had a really hard time with them. All better now thankfully! Great job on doing pretty well this weekend. Its so hard when faced with tons of foods we know we shouldn't have. Great will power! As for your question, physically I feel ok. I have worked out only 2 times in the past 10 days. Emotionally I am drained. Mentally I am itching to get back into the swing of things. Now if only I could get my kids all healthy at the same time, that would make it much easier.

I have been so stinking busy with kid issues this last week, I'm tired. I want our normal schedule back again. Today I take my youngest daughter to the Dr. I'm sure she has strep. emoticon My oldest had her appointment with her therapist. We are coming up on the 1st anniversary of her Dad's death. There is so much drama in her Dad's family and her step-mom's family surrounding this that if I could put her in a sound proof bubble I would. Its too much crap for her to deal with. I can only do so much to protect her. Thank goodness she has a good head on her shoulders and such a fantastic therapist that she loves and trusts. We meet with a nutritionist on Friday for her. Her ped called last week and said that after he thought about her for awhile he really wants her to work on putting 10 lbs on in the next 3 months. He is concerned that she is dangerously close to causing her menstraul cycle to stop. He said that she is 25 lbs underweight. So we'll work on this too. Its never ending. emoticon At some point I have to find a way to get my exercise back into this crazy schedule. I'm going to try and get out tonight.

Good morning, ladies!

I hope today is finding everyone alive and invigorated. And if you feel bad about your transgressions over the weekend, don't. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and begin anew today! This morning, I'm groggy and such, you know, bed late, up early. I have to get myself and my lil fella all gussied up because he has to go to the health department today. It's one of his 18 month well baby check ups. Tomorrow we get to see his doctor and start his shots. I didn't do as badly this weekend as I thought I would. Huzzah! This gives me much hope. :) Generally I'd blow everything out of the water and just say screw it and fall back down. :) But it's a good day. :)

How's everyone else doing? Better yet, HOW is everyone feeling?
