Mom6 - That is some serious will power. Good for you. I'm not sure I could ignore the pizza. Dang it!!! Now I want pizza. lol

Zoe - Sounds like you had an ok day, despite boring work.

TL - So proud of you for sneaking in a workout. That is fantastic!

So I am 90% packed. I even deflated the exercise ball and packed it in. I am keeping a positive attitude and outlook to this trip. Although there is this nagging voice in the back of my head that I need to choke. LOL Oh and then there is my oldest. I have been tempted numerous times today to choke her. j/k Choke her while hugging her. She is 13 and is so typical. She is driving me crazy. This too shall pass. In less than 24 hours she will be her 8 cousins, ages 12-19, tormenting and harrassing the town of Galena and I will turn my cell phone off. I am on vacation, its not my problem. LOL

Alright all, have a fantastic end to your week and a spectacular weekend. I will check in again on Tuesday. I hope to sooner but I can't make promises. I will however promise to post some pictures of the festivities.

Good job TL, Tracy and Mom6 on making good choices! Me too. I made it through a very boring day at work and am eating dinner of chicken breast and lite cesar salad. For dessert I'm looking forward to strawberries and cool whip. Yum!

I'm typing here because my husband and son are enjoying this HUGE delicious smelling PIZZA and I ate my salad and left!:) I will NOT stop at one piece so I'm not even going there. I exercised tonite and lifted and TWO pieces will eat all that hard work up. Here's to good choices and sometimes the PAIN that comes with making a path to a better...US! Have a great nite ladies. Storms here in the MIDWEST again:( Hoping for lots of sunshine to end the week!

Before you leave for the wedding...have a great time, Shelly! We'll look forward to details when you get back. JUST SAY...NO:) lol

You all helped & didn't even know it. After I left the last post, I realized I was making excuses and thought, "I don't want to let my spark buddies down". So I went and did 20 minutes of cardio. And I feel better knowing I pushed myself & did it. Thanks ladies!

Wednesday, BLAH!! Spent all morning running errands then had to go pick up the oldest from summer school - it's an hour to hour and a half round trip. Really eats into the day. Got her home, got all the kids a snack, had my own snack, now husband should be home any minute, he and the two boys will leave for track practice, and I take our daughter to gymnastics. I'm supposed to do my cardio today, but have felt zero motivation. I skipped it on Monday too. At least I did my strength training yesterday, that's better than nothing.

Shelly - I hope you have a good trip!

MOM6 - I'm in a similar boat. After mid July, things should slow down some for me too. Or at least, I'll be back into more of my normal routine. So much easier for me when I'm in my routine.

Tracy - Way to be positive! Everything you're telling yourself is dead on. There could be so many reasons for the weight gain, but just do what you know you need to do and things will get back to normal. And Shelly (I think it was Shelly) is right. If you eat too little, your body will go into starvation mode and store more calories, so make sure you're staying in range and not dipping below.

Zoe - Get back to work! LOL, just kidding.

Tracy - I agree that is has to be partially to blame on water weight. Be careful not to eat too low on your calorie allowance, it could shock your body and it may be fighting back by holding onto the fat. I love how determined you are! Keep up that attitude!

Mom6 - Good luck getting it all done! I hope you make some time for you.

Today is the crazy day of packing up 5 people. Plus camp and youth group for the oldest. Eeks! So much to do. And yet I'm on here instead of getting it done. I am so awesome at procrastination. LOL I weighed in this morning since I won't be able to until we get back. I'm down 2 more lbs. I am going to be good on this trip. I am bringing my ball and bands so I can keep that up. I will not give in to temptation at the dessert buffet or the Italian restaurant. I will keep myself in check! I won't be checking in here while we are gone. I'll be back on here on Tuesday. I hope to check in again later, but if not, have fantastic days ahead. Be good to yourselves!!

Mornin everyone!

I am determined to push through this. So I'm recording everything going into my mouth and yesterday I barely met my lowest calorie allowance. I am going to keep it like that today as well. I won't let this beat me. There has to be a reason that I'm putting on weight. And it can't be that much fat. I got to thinking about it, it's not PHYSICALLY possible to pack on that much fat in 7 days. So hopefully, whenever this ends, whatever it is, I'll just be THAT much lighter. Anyways, so long as I'm moving and eating healthier, I will be healthier. No matter what that scales says.

Mom6- Just work through your list one item at a time and before you know it the list will be gone! :D

HAPPY 'HUMP" Day, everyone:) Is is FRI, yet?

Mitchell - congrats on the WL...AND the shrinking waist!! Keep up that positive attitude. Sometimes when LIFE throws LEMONS...it's up to us to find the sugar and water! Thinking of you each day!

Tracy - So glad to hear about your Mom. It has to be water weight gain - there is NO WAY you are a failure, although I completely understand that statement...been there done that, too. Sending many hugs/prayers your way for a great day...today!

Shelly - hope your leg is better today! I posted a comment about your pics:) I'm with Mitchell - wear the skirt:)

Zoe - hope things are going well for you!

TL - here's to WED. ENERGY - think I need some, too, lol. Hope you got some things done yesterday. My "to-do" list is a mile long between now and mid-July, then I'm cruising through the rest of the summer:).
